...the friend reneged on the deal.

Hopefully a seed was planted and will eventually grow to the glory of God.

Jim Caviezel’s wife Kerri Browitt was also a basketball player at Cle Elum High School. Later on she was

on Western Washington basketball team for four full years, and one of that school’s best.

She reportedly led in 5 statistical categories no less.

29-year-old James married English teacher and accomplished flutist Kerri Browitt in 1997. He first met Kerri on a blind date four years before. James and his wife adopted 3-year-old Chinese-born Bo and are both active in charity programs in their rural community in the Conejo Valley in California.

Looks like Mel Gibson certainly picked the right guy for the role.

Blessings indeed.

It’s very hard to live like Christ in Hollyweird.

"We took the harder road," the actor said. "That is what faith is to me; it's action. It's the Samaritan. It's not the one who says he is; it's the one who does - and does without bringing attention to himself. I'm saying this because I want to encourage other people."

Jim now officially rocks!

About the adoption of his children, Caviezel was frank about his feelings, saying the challenge "completely terrified" him at first. "Yes, you do feel fear, you do feel scared but you have no idea the blessings that you have coming to you if you just take a chance on faith."

"Be not afraid!" How true are those words of the previous pope! And how much we miss out on when we live in fear. I see it in a couple of people who are very close to me, and it's so very sad, and needless. Don't worry!, as Jesus advised us. "What is needed is trust." How very true! It's a lesson I've learned over a long period of time.
