I think Luther also waxed quite antisemitic in his later, uh...theology.

Wrong. That was earlier. (He did a u-turn on it later).

“Such a Telestial reply!”

At least it wasn’t an Incestual reply, as your close brethren in the FLDS are wont - at the direction of Joseph Smith. Nor do I believe in “Celestial” responses, implying a bunch of gods fornicating on billions of planets with infinite Celestial wives and Spirit Children. So, since I am not a god, Terrestrial will do for me.

“Luther found it necessary to base his authority on the Bible.”

Yeah, that’s always a bad idea.

Of course, it's only a bad idea for the Bishop of Rome to do it.

(biggertime sarcasm)

Calvin never "emphasized" the concept of predestination. It didn't even appear in the first three editions of Institutes. Once it did appear the topic takes up about 50 pages out of 1500.

Gee, only fifty?!

he didn't like the implications of it but it was unavoidable as the logical conclusion of the true nature of Grace.

The only thing Gloria Steinem said that approached reasonableness was "Logic is in the eye of the logician." How true.

James, Hebrews, Jude, and Revelation

He had his own vision, and was not about to let a lousy technicality like The Inspired Word of God get in his way.

These books are in the Bible I use. KJV/NIV

However, the great reformer would not recognize himself in the dogmatic way in which such ideas are taught today.

I suppose you could claim that about some Protestant denominations. LCMS/WELS would disagree. But from a Mormon perspective? LOL. It would be over with the nature of GOD. Luther was a Trinitarian, Mormon, not so much. JS couldn't pour Luther's beer.

Ok, I cannot help but giggle.
It is not possible to be a Christian BEFORE Christ.

Thanks for playing but you lose. I am not going to feed the beast this time, I’d rather watch the Simpsons.
