I do!! My now ex-boss fired me and my girlfriend because it was against his LDS morals. How do I know this? Because he told his bosses (the City Council) that he didn’t care for our morals and if they did then the Council should get rid of him!! At the time she lived 20 miles from the City where we worked and he had other employees go by her house to see if I was staying the night...
The Council made him re-hire me but he “fined” me $13,500 to get my job back. He was then forced to retire...
BTW my girlfriend has filed a wrongful termination suit against the City because of this...

Actually, Henpecked didn’t state that Mormonism/LDS-ism is Christian. It appears more that Henpecked doesn’t care about Christ or Christinaity, just peace at any cost. Standing to oppose the heresies Mormonism promotes is considered Mormon bashing by the Mormonism apologists AND now by the powers that be at FR. Some of us are not much longer to be here at FR/mormon-sanctuary.
No, the Mormons who came to your door were no “spreading the gospel.” They were spreading their “new” gospel (hence the “latter day” in their full name “Latter Day Saints”). This “new” gospel is, by definition, unbiblical. Therefore, what they are spreading is heresy, which will lead many to hell.
They were nice, I’m certain. And deceiving many into eternal punishment with their false gospel.
No one knows the answer to that, try as you might. Just why is it your business anyway?

I have been on FR for nine years. I said “what I have seen on here on FR”. The statement was an observation of mine that covers a nine year period and screen upon screen upon screen of threads that I base my observation on. I’m not going to spend days documenting nine years that make up my observation anymore than I would ask you to disprove my observation by going back through nine years of threads.

Everyone has sinned and fallen short of God’s glory. If you’ve stolen anything in your life, you are a thief. If you’ve looked at a woman (other than your wife) lustfully even once, according to Jesus you have committed adultery with her. If you’ve ever lied, you are a liar. And God does not allow into heaven those who are lying, thieving, adulterers.

Ah, but He did make a way for us to be reconciled with Him: Jesus. Those who turn from their selfish ways and place their faith in Him receive the gift of salvation! And that’s a great thing.

After you breathe your last breath, you are either going *to* God (Heaven) or *away* from God (Hell). By default, we’re all headed away from Him. If you simply turn and ask Him to forgive you for what you’ve done wrong, as your personal relationship with Him grows, you’ll find yourself going *to* Him. Jesus is trustworthy.
Yes, for the most part Mormons are decent people. But their faith is false, built on the lies of a false prophet, and I fear for their eternal fates, especially for those who draw others into their false religion.
