Prayers Needed for BABY (Update @ #126)

Dearest Prayer Warriors....

Please cover tiny Ariella with your prayers. Prayers for life, health, strength, God's power to manifest through her body developing what the medical field says it does not have.

Alayna, Ariella's mom, is an unwed teen whose family and church has supported her. Alayna was told during the pregnancy that Ariella was Hydrancephalic. They held out no hope for Ariella. Church prayed for the whole family. Alayna insisted on carrying the baby to birth. Ariella was delivered on 4-21-2008. Alayna was told that Ariella may only live 1-2 days. The following Sunday Alayna and Ariella were in church. That night we had a prayer vigil and Ariella was dedicated! Last Sunday, May 4, Ariella looked a little yellow and when I commented on her looking a little jaundice, I was told there would be no medical measures taken because of the Dr's diagnosis. We agreed that God could and would easily touch her liver, blood and body and clear up the condition. (I have not seen her since then to know how she is looking.)

Alayna's mother, Kathy, has been a steady shoulder for Alayna. Kathy gave birth to Ben, Alayna's brother, 8yrs ago. He was born normal but because a doctor forgot to say that he needed a vitamin K shot which caused him to have a bleed on the brain and he is now equivelent to a 3 month old. Ben's life has been a blessing to many. Please also pray for Ben's body to be touched and healed.

Please pray for the strength, courage, boldness, peace, patience, energy and stamina that Kathy and Alayna need to care for their precious ones.

Alayna will keep me posted, and I will pass it on to you. I am also going to give her the link here on FR so she and Kathy can read your posts of prayers and thoughts. You all have been a source of strength to many in the past, and you are needed again. May Christ's love, peace and comfort shine through you all to Alayna, Kathy, Ariella and Ben. May God's HEALING POWER be demonstrated, and life testimonies given that will bring great honor and glory to His Name.

I can’t address all of it but jaundice is often helped with sunlight.

Years ago, a little Italian nun noticed the babies near the window were healthier than the babies far away from the window.

It turns out the sunlight, indirect, for half hour or so at a time, throughout the day, helps break down the bilirubin in the blood. If it’s not broken down it builds up, poisoning the baby’s system, sometimes leading to mental retardation or even death.

My daughter had a terrible case of jaundice after birth (something about AB blood type?). They ordered a belt that had uv light which we wrapped around her belly while she slept. I also kept her by the sunlight as much as possible.
