Hi Everyone,
I received some sad news from my friend Ana today. Her niece in England, who has been battling spinal cancer for a little while, has not been making progress. Here is her email:

This is my niece Natasha. She has been battling spinal cancer for the last year. She had an operation where they took out what they could but it was so involved in the spinal cord they had to leave a lot. She has been doing chemo for the last year and MRI's to check progress. I heard last week from my Mum and again yesterday, that the MRI has shown that the cancer is growing...even with chemo. She is now to undergo radiation therapy. She will have 6 week bouts of it.
My brother has aged 20 years in the last year. His hair has gone absolute white in a month and it has fallen out in clumps. He is 2 years older than me but looks 68 years old.
So if I don't appear my usual bright self you will know why.

Anyway, you all know how the British healthcare system is...this poor little doll needs our help! I told Ana I'd round up as many prayers as I could, and I know this is the best place to start!

Dear Lord reach down and touch young Natasha with your healing power. Help this family in it’s time of desperate need, a time of stress, a time of hope seemingly pushed far away. Show them them that HOPE prevails even in the face of dire circumstance. For all things are Possible through You, Our Lord.
Mother Mary, Mother of All Mothers hold Natasha close, embrace this family and and bring their pleas to the very Heart of Our Lord.
Lord give them strength, endurance, sleep that refreshes and lighter hearts. Lead them in your love.
Please bring Natasha full Healing and Recovery in Your Name.

Heavenly Father, physician of our souls and bodies, Who have sent Your only-begotten Son and our Lord Jesus Christ to heal every sickness and infirmity, visit and heal also Your servant Natasha from all physical and spiritual ailments through the grace of Your Christ. Grant her patience in this sickness, strength of body and spirit, and recovery of health. Lord, You have taught us through Your word to pray for each other that we may be healed. I pray, heal Your servant Natasha and grant to her the gift of complete health. For You are the source of healing and to You I give glory, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen.
O Lord our God, Who by a word alone did heal all diseases, Who did cure the kinswoman of Peter, You Who chastise with pity and heal according to Your goodness; Who are able to put aside every sickness and infirmity, do You Yourself, the same Lord, grant aid to Your servant Natasha and cure her of every sickness of which she is grieved; and send down upon her Your great mercy, and if it be Your will, give to her health and a complete recovery; for You are the Physician of our souls and bodies, and to You do we send up Glory: to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, Both now and forever, and to the ages of ages. Almighty Father, please heal this child and make her whole.. Please see to the needs of the entire family, lighten their burdens as only You can, and strengthen them through this trial, to Your Greater Glory, as is Your will. I ask this in Jesus’ Holy Name, Amen.
