America has been greatly blessed by God and has stood as the greatest country in the history of the world for over 200 years. America has many foreign and domestic enemies that are seeking her destruction.
This thread is a daily call and reminder for people of faith who believe in God and in the power of prayer to make a commitment to intercede for America at this critical time in her history
2 Chronicles 7:14
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

Lord,we humbly ask You to protect america and especially help the people in the flooded areas of the midwest. we pray that You will strengthen our leaders who are trying to do what is right and who are standing against those who are trying to harm america. we ask that You will change hearts and restrain ungodly judges whose decisions are wrong and injust. we thank you in Jesus’ Name....amen.

Decisions in National Crisis
Father God, we pray that You would direct the leaders of this nation in times of crisis. Grant them wisdom and understanding, and help them to respond quickly and effectively to each situation. May divinely directed decisions be on their lips, and may they do that which is right in Your sight. May they follow Your will to direct our nation in the paths of peace and safety.
Unite all response agencies in an organized and harmonious fashion to bring quick and effective resolve to the demands of each crisis.
Empower us as United States citizens to do our part, financially, physically, emotionally, and spiritually to support all who have been affected by tragedy.
I pray that you will encourage and strengthen our Nation. Surround us with Your love and mercy. Bring peace and comfort to all those who are suffering as a result of crisis.
Renewing our knowledge of and faith in God through Holy Scripture can strengthen us as a nation and a people. ~ The Year of the Bible was declared in 1983 by a joint resolution of the House and Senate.
Lord, the sun and the wind and the rain remind us of Your omnipotence. The just and the unjust are witness to Your Mighty Power. You have said the last days will be filled with the anguish of nature. The very rocks cry out to you, the earth moans under the weight of sin.
I pray, Lord, for the safety of those who lie in paths of disaster. Protect from devastation those who love You and call on Your Name.
Grant peace to those who tremble. Grant hope to those who despair. Grant charity to those who turn to You in need. Grant faith to those who are lost.
Guide us in Your ways and teach us to become ministers of compassion in times of tribulation.
Father, a short time ago in Your sight, God-fearing men determined the principles of our democracy,designing a government of, by, and for the people. Earnestly praying for Your direction, they precisely penned the United States Constitution.
Father, You gave wisdom to our Supreme Court in their self-defining role of interpreting the Constitution and determining the constitutionality of laws. But the self-elevation and pride of the human spirit has led our Court to abandon its principles and Your direction, and rule in ignorance of the Constitution You influenced through the petition of our ancestors.
I pray, dear Lord, that You will bring any and all judges who sit on the once-blessed bench of the United States Supreme Court to repentance for this sin against You and against this nation. Restore justice, O Lord, to this country before it drowns in a liberal sea of iniquity. Bless the few judges in all levels of our government that remain faithful to You and to the American people. Restrain those, Lord, that oppose Your precepts and support their own abhorrent agendas.
Faithfully I pray this in the Name of Your Holy and Just Son, Jesus.
God, please grant them greater and godly wisdom.
I stand in agreement with my brothers and sisters who have come before You to pray for America. You gave us the most beautiful and wonderful country in the history of the world, and we have allowed evil people to destroy it. Please forgive us of all sin in our lives. Reveal any sins of commission or omission, that we can repent of them. Forgive us so we can walk before You in righteousness to Intercede for America. Your Word says that is the only way that You are going to heal our land.
Please help us to restore Godly men and women to lead our government in the way that Your Word commands them to do. Since You appoint the kings and rulers over the earth, it seems that those who are ruling over us now are being used to punish us for the sins of our nation. We need Godly men and women to restore America, and I humbly ask You to put those people in office again. We don't have much of a choice in this election, so we ask You to change the hearts and minds of those who are going to be the leaders. Open their blinded eyes so they can see the Truth, and open their deafened ears so they can hear the Truth. Prepare their hardened hearts so that when they hear and see the truth that it will fall into a prepared heart, causing them to turn from their wicked ways, to repent and to accept Jesus as their Savior.
Father, I ask You to bring a great Revival to America. Pour Your Holy Spirit upon America and let there be a great awakening. Revive Your Saints. Refresh the Brethren. I lift these requests to You in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and I thank You for receiving them and acting upon them with Your favor. Amen!
I pray with you that their eyes and ears be opened and their hearts softened, that they may see and hear and trust what Christ has freely given; that there may be a renewing of their minds; that they would turn from their wicked ways and repent; that they would lead under the guidance of the God of America's founding fathers.
