Daily "Pray for America" Thread (7-6-08)

America has been greatly blessed by God and has stood as the greatest country in the history of the world for over 200 years. America has many foreign and domestic enemies that are seeking her destruction.

This thread is a daily call and reminder for people of faith who believe in God and in the power of prayer to make a commitment to intercede for America at this critical time in her history

If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

David built an altar to the LORD there and sacrificed burnt offerings and fellowship offerings. Then the LORD answered prayer in behalf of the land, and the plague on Israel was stopped.

if we stay faithful in prayer and intercede for america as king david interceded for israel, we will see God's answer.

Most Holy God,

We Praise You, and we Glorify Your Holy Name! The Name that causes demons to tremble, and the Angels of Heaven to Rejoice! There is none like You, our Redeemer, for where Your Spirit is, there is Liberty and Freedom. Your Love and Mercy through the shed Blood of Jesus, has set us free. Thank You Father for loving us so much that You gave Your only Son to die in our place, that through His Precious Blood, You have REDEEMED us! Hallelujah, to the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords!!

Through Your Love for us, You have allowed us to live in America, the greatest country in all of history. We have been able to enjoy liberty and freedom because Your Spirit was upon our forefathers. They worshipped You and they served You. Since then, many Christians have lost their way, and have backsliden. We have sinned against You because of our apathy, and now, evil men and women hold elected offices in our government and our courts. They have sinned against You by passing evil laws that allow the murder of innocent little babies. They have supported the homosexual agenda. Their lust for power and their greed for material things has brought much evil to America. They support anything that will silence You because the very mention of Your name, causes them to be convicted of the sin in their lives, so they want to silence Christians from being allowed to be in schools, and the government. They are slowly destroying our Constitution that guarantees us our God given RIGHTS, and we allowed it to happen.

Please forgive us of our sins against You and others and deliver us from all evil. Forgive us of all sins of commission and sins of omission. Help us to turn from our wicked ways so You will hear from Heaven and heal our land. Please pour Your Holy Spirit out upon us once more, that all will find their way back to You. We need Fresh Fire to rekindle our spirits. Guide us and keep us walking in Your Ways. Give us all a bold spirit so that we can be witnesses to the things which we have seen and heard, and to the things You will reveal to us in these End Times. Help us to keep our eyes on the Prize, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Abba, please Bless and protect the men and women who serve in our military, and keep them safe from harm. Reveal the places that the enemy hides, and go before them to clear the way. Please take care of their families while they are away. We pray for the families who have lost loved ones, and ask You to give them comfort and strength to help them through their grief. There are thousands of our troops who have received life changing injuries. Please guide their doctors so they can find ways to help them recover completely.

Lord, we pray for our first responders, who also put their lives on the line for us. Please protect them all, and Bless them abundantly. Please help us to get Judges in office that will enforce the laws to the max so there won't be a revolving door in the jails.

Father, we pray for our loved ones too. We all have unsaved relatives and that is a great heartache for all of us. We don't want them to die without being Saved. We ask for mercy for them and that You would forgive their sins, and put Christians in their lives who can witness to them, so that thy will all find Salvation, through our Lord.

Merciful Father, we offer these prayers to You in the Name of Jesus. Thank You for receiving them and we pray that You will find favor with our requests. Amen!

Lord, we return unto You to give thanks for answered prayer. We Praise You and we thank You that You are a God who answers prayer. We are few in number so far, but You have heard our prayers, and we thank You for finding favor on some of our requests already. It is so encouraging when we can see answered prayer, so we want to thank You and let the whole world know that You are a Loving and Kind Father.

We prayed that You would bring the rains to states who have been in terrible droughts, and already the rains have been falling. We had no rain in our forcast, but it rained hard today, and it's going to continue raining for the rest of the week. It's been raining hard in the south too. We ask You to receive our thanksgiving and Praise reports, in the name of Jesus!

Do we serve a Good God, or what. He's so amazing!!! I just pulled this weather report off of Yahoo, so you can see how God has answered our prayers.
