Nope, you won't catch a Mormon wearing a cross or hanging one on their wall and you won't find it in any of their buildings. They are truly taught against the cross. I find it interesting, yet not surprising, that none of them responded - because they know it's true ... the CROSS is a foundational Christian element - this should prove that the Mormon religion is not Christian but only uses the name of Christ. Thanks for the historical proof from their teachings and the scriptures from ours.

I would think the historical components of your doctrine would be a relevant defense in your opinion. If you can't stand on the teachings of the writings of your church perhaps there's something wrong? Now there's a real "hmmm"
I can stand 100% on the teachings of The Bible - and guess what, it never changes. The mormon church gets continous revelation that changes with demand of the public - like when ya'll finally decided to let african americans join your church in recent decades - guess what Jesus loves every race - always has and always will. No matter how we change, He never does nor do his teachings.

I hope you do feel it - we do love you with the Love of Christ - we love you enough to tell you Truth. It’s up to you to pray about it and explore it. Don’t you find it interesting that the Christian religion is about Jesus and his works that he did for us? The mormon religion is about you and what you are doing - doing to earn your salavaton and rank into the third and highest heaven, what you are doing to make yourself into a God. Christians will not be Gods - we serve and love the one true God. We will not be Gods in our heaven but will worship him there. All honor and glory and power belong to him and not to us. I am going to heaven because Jeusus shed his blood for me and washed away the sin that confronts me daily. He is my defense attorney and when Satan stands before the throne of God accusing me Jesus says she’s covered, I already paid for that sin. I hope he calls you to join us there - where salvation is free.
That is a common misconception but we really don't share the same religion - yes, Christians are called to holy living because we follow Christ but our motives are different - our response is out of love and thanks and the mormon resonse is out of fear and works - there are HUGE doctrinal differences between Bible believing Christians and the mormon - (1) the Trinity - we believe it mormons do not (2) the virgin birth - we believe it mormons believe God and Mary had sex to give bith to Jesus. (3) the Bible - we belive it - you all don't - it is used as advertising to draw in Christians who don't know scripture but once in the mormon church the Bible is secondary if even that - the true teaching to mormons are pearl of great price, doct of covenants, book of mormon etc. True Christians are offended by the mormon church who added to our sacred scripture ... bottom line, no, we are far from alike. Only our morality looks similar but ours is not done in our own strength but through the work of Christ in our lives - and we fail at that too but he still loves us and will still let us into heaven because he paid the price to do so. And there will be a party - and we are very excited and long for it day by day. I hope you'll join us there... just humbly recieve God's free gift of salvation and you've got your ticket. God's richest blessings to you and yours.
