THE world as we know is vanishing and will disappear in an earth-shaking series of Year 2012 events that are clearly laid out in prophecies appearing in the Holy Bible for everyone to see.
And contrary to what many clergymen have told their flocks, that God frowns on fortune-telling and has hidden the future from us, an increasing number of religious experts - from Pope Benedict XVI and the Rev. Dr. Billy Graham to hometown ministers from coast to coast - are taking a closer look at Bible passages, prophecies and symbols and using them to predict with startling precision what they are convinced is the shape of things to come.
“This isn’t the time to quibble over what God wants us to know and what He doesn’t want us to know,” Detroit, Michigan-based Dr. Roger Philpen, who is widely believed to have been the first Christian minister to have preached the gospel via short-wave to people in every country on Earth, told me exclusively.
“If God didn’t want us to predict the future and act on it, why did He use over one-third of the Bible to map the future in finely-detailed warnings and prophecies that predict our future?
“Obviously He expected us to study his word and behave accordingly, changing our lives to conform as closely as possible to those lived by Jesus Christ, Moses and other Bible prophets and leaders.
“These same prophecies tell us that time is, in fact, running out. The year 2012 is fast approaching and the only thing you can do to protect yourself from the terrible days to come - and they will be terrible - is get right with God now while you still have a chance, however slim, of saving your life and spending all eternity in Heaven with Him.”
Dr. Philpen’s interpretations of Bible Prophecy and general sermons are heard internationally each week in short-wave broadcasts and in live Internet forums that literally circle the globe.
Many of his ideas are mirrored or even quoted verbatim by high-profile religious leaders such as Dr. Graham and Pope Benedict, both of whom have made it clear in books and sermons that mankind is standing at the final crossroads so eloquently outlined in the Bible’s most prophetically chilling book, Revelation.
Here, in another derekclontz.com world exclusive, is Dr. Philpen’s personal take on what many believe to be the most compelling - and crucial - symbols and events that are predicted on the pages of the Bible:
- Angels. According to Dr. Philpen, angels are the most misunderstood entities in all of religious history. But their “ancestry and intent,” as he puts it, will become increasingly clear as we enter the 12th year of the Third Millennium at the stroke of midnight on Dec. 31, 2011.
“Angels can be quite protective of human beings but as the Bible makes so abundantly clear, they aren’t a collection of saints or housewives - they are soldiers and do-or-die ambassadors of God Himself,” explained Dr. Philpen.
“If you see an angel in these terrible End Times that we live in don’t run for your camera and don’t call for your family and friends. Get down on your knees or even lay flat and smash your face in the dirt in fear.
“Remember: If an angel appears to you or anyone else it is to kill you in the name of the Lord as an ‘angel of death’ or to give you inspiration or information you’ll need to fulfill some great task for the Lord. When an angel appears your destiny is out of your control. All you can do is submit and trust in the ways of the Lord.”
- Armageddon, like angels, is poorly understood by most people - even devout Christians who have memorized the Bible and devoted huge chunks of their lives to studying scripture.
“Armageddon is a battle fought in the hearts, minds and souls of men every single day,” Dr. Philpen told me. “Unless you already have given up and succumbed to the Devil, Armageddon is being waged in you even as you read this warning.
“Don’t get me wrong - there will, in fact, be a physical Battle of Armageddon, a World War 3, in which hundreds of millions of people will die the most hideous and horrible deaths imaginable from nuclear radiation, nerve gases, lethal viruses and old-fashioned rape and murder after the first shot is fired, the first nuclear warhead is launched, on Jan. 1, 2012.
“It will be as if the gates of Hell itself have opened and sucked you into a lake of fire. I can’t imagine surviving Armageddon, this Final Battle Between Good and Evil, without the strongest and most unshakable faith that God will see you through.”
- Israel’s role in prophecy has confused and confounded Christians throughout history, primarily because Israel is a Jewish, not a Christian, state. Furthermore, Christianity is a Jewish religion that is not entirely supported by Jews - at least not where the Messiah is concerned.
With controversy existing at such a basic level, tensions between Christians and Jews historically have been amazingly cordial - although that will change as we enter the Year 2012, Dr. Philpen said.
His read of Bible prophecy suggests that World War 3 - Armageddon - will ignite when a two-pronged attack launched by the Red Chinese and their evil ally, Iran, lays over half of Israel’s population to waste with “bacteria bombs, nerve gas and nuclear missiles.”
This, says Dr. Philpen, is the point at which Christians and Jews will part ways, abandoning their historical alliance once and for all “in the demonic and unstoppable madness ensuing from the Battle of Armageddon.”
- The “real” Y2K crisis - the one that experts and the lay public feared would occur at the stroke of midnight on Dec. 31, 1999 - will take place this spring. But the “computer glitching” will be wildly overstated by, as Dr. Philpen puts it, “certain evil powers-that-be who will use the fabricated ‘crisis’ to orchestrate global economic collapse.
“This will be the work of one man - a powerful American politicians,” explained Dr. Philpen. “This is the work of the anti-Christ, who resides in Washington, D.C.”
- For Christians and religious scholars alike, “the anti-Christ and the mark of the beast - 666 - is Bible symbology at its scariest and most baffling,” Dr. Philpen told me. “But when you step away from the apparent obscurity of it, the meaning is quite clear.
“In the Bible, we find clear references to the anti-Christ and his evil number, his beastly ‘mark’, 666, which is said to be ‘number of his name.’
“But don’t make the mistake of trying to translate the numbers into letters and determine his name - in fact, all 666 refers to in Jewish numerology is something that is imperfect. Bible prophecy doesn’t give us the name of the anti-Christ - it merely informs us that he is born of man and is not of God … as imperfect a being as you can find.
“The identity of the ‘beast’ isn’t important. His role in history is important. And his role quite simply is to establish a one-world government under a one-world economy that will begin to emerge after this year’s economic collapse and will be in effect by the end of 2012. And what, you might ask, is so bad about a one-world government?
“It will be a godless government headed by godless men. Imagine a world and universe without faith, without God - just you and all mankind living lives without meaning and without hope in the eerie, icy vastness of unfeeling, uncaring space.
“Imagine this and you might begin to understand the godless, secular Hell that awaits followers of the anti-Christ.
“This is the promise of Satan and the anti-Christ. And should you choose to embrace their hideous ‘new world order’ I’m afraid you will find there are limits to God’s mercy. Will He abandon you in your time of greatest need? No - but the danger is that you will abandon Him and suffer the unspeakable fires of Hell for all eternity because of it.”
- The Rapture is yet another “confusing” piece of Bible prophecy that awaits mankind as we enter the new Millennium, although the exact date is not specified or even suggested.
“Only when every man, woman and child on Earth has experienced the temptations of the anti-Christ and decided whether to serve him or serve God will the Rapture occur,” said Dr. Philpen.
“There’s nothing ‘difficult’ about understanding the Rapture,” he added. “When all men have made their choices, God will take His ‘chosen few’ and lift them directly into Heaven–alive.
“This will be a glorious day and a terrible day,” he added. “Few will be taken into Heaven because few are deserving of this mercy. When billions of unsaved men, women and children realize what is happening they will cry out for mercy and even try to grab the feet of those who are ascending into Heaven.
“But there will be no ‘free ride’ into Paradise. There will be no mercy. God will turn his back on those who turned their back on Him.”

No. Several years of President Obama until terrorist attacks, deaths of American civilians and military, failure to respond to terrorism, and a DOW at 6,000 either forces this communist putz out of office or he is removed. 2012 and the Dems are wiped from American politics. But a tough four years.

I don’t know when Jesus is coming back, but I do know what he said would happen in the End Times, and the *Last Generation* to see those things happening, sure sounds like

More than that. I remember hearing about some fella spouting off similar things and was so nutty that he even built an incredibly large boat out of gopherwood in the middle of nowhere warning people about an upcoming flood. just think! /sarcasm off

I mean, I went to his website and checked out where he was coming from (from what he was doing on his website). He doesn’t appear to be mainly concentrating on Biblical matters — but rather — be concentrating on highly contentious issues to drive viewers to his site, so he can sell them other things.
AND, the guy he is quoting in the article that he wrote — I simply cannot find to *exist*. I’m wondering if the author of the article (who is quoting some other preacher) has even quoted a *real person*.
You see..., if you’re going to talk about Jesus coming again — at least use more reliable sources and not *kooks* such as this author...
I can’t think of another time in history where Russia, Armenia, Ethiopia, Siberia and Germany are so conveniently coalescing to form a possible Gog/Magog invasion, especially when the US and other British or Spanish (Tarshish and the young lions thereof) national spinoffs with a couple fo Arab states might not be poised to counterattack.

We can know the times by the signs that occur. But setting specific dates is ludicrous, and anyone who does so is calling Jesus a liar.
