God rest her soul. Mom died in 98 after a battle with bone cancer. 11 years and still like yesterday. When you get time, listen to this song — Precious Memories, how they linger, how they ever flood my soul........ Andy Griffith does a very good version.

Thank you so much for comment on your Mom. I know my Mother is with Jesus because the last time I saw her she mentioned how she had a dream and could not see the lord but hear him and said he wanted her with him and he already gave her 10 years more on this earth. My mother 89 should according to her dream have passed at 79. After telling me this she passed 3 months later. I'll not have to miss her long because I am 62 years young and heading that way up, thanks to my Savior Jesus. :)

Wow, NAS Sanford was my base when I was in RVAH-11. It does not look like the little narrow road going into the base when I was stationed there in 1966-1967. My wife and I travel through Sanford about every year from Orange Park Fl. to see her brother in Casselberry. Maybe some day we will cross paths.
