Agreed. There is no such thing as a "hate speech" law in this country, and there never will be so long as we have a First Amendment. Any such law would be blatantly unconstitutional and would be struck down at the District Court level.

Homosexuals/lesbians are not content with civil unions. Although that would offer them the civil rewards, they are interested in redefining marriage. In redefining the legal interpretation of marriage, homosexuals will have an avenue to sue the churches for not performing “marriages” the state has said are appropriate. It's not just hate speech but they are coming after the church's dollars.
