WE CAN KNOW THE DAY
"THE DAY THAT NOE ENTERED INTO THE ARK... SO SHALL ALSO THE COMING OF THE SON OF MAN BE" THAT'S CHESHVAN 17
JESUS SAID, "TAKE YE HEED: BEHOLD, I HAVE FORETOLD YOU ALL THINGS" (Mark 13:23)
I'm no prophet, but it now seems that Jesus himself gave us the last clue we need a long time ago. It's so plain in Matthew 24, I don't know why I didn't get it before this. I knew it was in Scripture, but I looked everywhere but the right place, in plain view. I should have known that in plain view was the best place to hide something. What threw me off was Mt. 24:36, where Jesus said, "But of that DAY AND HOUR knoweth no man". After so many reminded me of that so many times, I skimmed over what followed it.
Look what he said in verse 42: "Watch therefore: for ye know not what HOUR your Lord doth come." HE LEFT OUT THE DAY.
In case we missed it, he even repeated it. in verse 44, he said, "Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an HOUR as ye think not the Son of man cometh." HE LEFT OUT THE DAY.
That means that in between verses 36 and 44, Jesus revealed the DAY, Cheshvan 17, "THE DAY THAT NOE ENTERED INTO THE ARK." The wise virgins are not in the dark as to the DAY, just the hour. The foolish virgins don't know the day or the hour. Jesus put the day in plain view. I have read it over and over without realizing that in verses 42 and 44, he didn't say DAY AND HOUR, only HOUR (hora).
Mt. 24:32-45 (KJV) says, "Now learn a parable of the fig tree (Israel, Joel 1:6,7); When his branch (klados, scion broken off for grafting, i.e., modern Israel) is yet tender (apalos, young, i.e., no more than 19, which she was in 1967), and putteth forth leaves (Gaza Strip, Sinai, Golen Heights, West Bank, in the Six-Day War of 1967), ye know that summer is nigh (the war started June 5; summer arrived June 21): So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it ('the kingdom of God', Luke 21:31) is near, even at the DOORS (symbol of the Raptures, as in Rev. 3:8, 4:1). Verily (amen, so be it, firm, trustworthy) I say unto you, This generation (i.e., those born in 1967) shall not pass (1967 + 48 = 2015), till all these things (i.e., both Raptures) be fulfilled."
It looks like the 2nd Rapture will be in 2015 (Tishri 1, 5776). The 1st Rapture will be 7 years before that, i.e., in 5769. This year started on Tishri 1, 5769 (Sept. 30, 2008). I thought the 1st Rapture would be that day, but I had something else to learn, and that is found in this passage of Scripture. Read on.
Continuing in Mt. 24, the Olivet Discourse, Jesus said, "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. But of that DAY AND HOUR knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. But AS THE DAYS OF NOE WERE, SO SHALL ALSO THE COMING OF THE SON OF MAN BE. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until THE DAY THAT NOE ENTERED INTO THE ARK (Cheshvan 17), And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; SO SHALL ALSO THE COMING OF THE SON OF MAN BE. Then (tote, at the same time, i.e., on Cheshvan 17, 5769; November 15, 2008) shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Watch therefore: for ye know not what HOUR (hora) your Lord doth come. But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an HOUR (hora) as ye think not the Son of man cometh. Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in DUE SEASON (kairos, set time)?"
Lev 26:2-4 says, "Ye shall keep my SABBATHS, and reverence my sanctuary: I am the LORD. If ye walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments, and do them; Then I WILL GIVE YOU RAIN IN DUE SEASON, and the land shall yield her increase, and the trees (i.e., nations) of the field (i.e., world) shall yield their FRUIT."
We are called a kind of firstfruits. James 1:18 says, "Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be A KIND OF FIRSTFRUITS of his creatures."
Cheshvan 17, 5769 (Nov. 15, 2008) is on Saturday, the Sabbath. It looks like we will go to Shabbatai (Saturn, the 3rd Heaven; II Cor. 12:2, and the 7th planet) on Shabbat (the 7th day).
IN MARK, THE PORTER DOESN'T KNOW THE HOUR, BUT HE KNOWS THE DAY
Mark 13:33-37 says, "Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time (kairos, set time, due time) is. For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch. WATCH YE THEREFORE: FOR YE KNOW NOT WHEN THE MASTER OF THE HOUSE COMETH, AT EVEN, OR AT MIDNIGHT, OR AT THE COCKCROWING, OR IN THE MORNING: Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping. And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch." At even, midnight, cockcrowing, or morning is describing the hour. The porter already knows the day.
THE SON OF MAN IS REVEALED AT THE TIME OF THE SECOND RAPTURE
Luke 17:28-30 says, "Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed."
The Sign of the Son of Man will be seen in the sky as the Day of God's Wrath begins. He will be sitting on his throne, because the judgment will be made at the Judgment Seat of Christ that day. The Pre-Wrath Rapture will take place just before God's Wrath hits Earth. Again, we can figure out the day, but not the hour. There will be a Solar Eclipse a little past 6 PM on our previous day, when this Jewish day starts. I think it will be the Feast of Trumpets, Tishri 1, 5776 (Sept. 14, 2015). It can't be later than 2015, because 1967 + 48 (Mt. 1:17) = 2015.
The Six-Day War of 1967 was the Sign of the End of the Age. It could not be later than 1967, because that was the last year 19-year-old Israel could be called young.
That day, Tishri 1, 5776, Monday, Sept. 14, 2015, seems locked in place. The Sign of the End of the Age was the Six-Day War of 1967. It couldn't be later than that, because Israel was 19, the last year her branch (klados, a young tender shoot, broken off for grafting) could be considered tender (apalos, soft, tender, i.e., young). A generation from that year is the end of the age. The longest we can count as a generation is 48 years (Mt. 1:17). 1967 + 48 = 2015.
Sisters and Brothers, without our borders, language and culture we are a culture of islands that share nothing but a zip code; another Brazil of elites and serfs.
Ol' TR broke it down when he said "there are no hypenated Americans" or as my Grand Dad said to me "if you speak another word of that old language again, I'll beat it out of you"
Scripture says we won’t know the hour. Which is why Jesus in the parable of the women and the oil said to be ready for you do not know when the master comes.
Maranatha! (But, my figuring brings me to anytime in the next 13-84 months.)
wait! where do I send my money?
It's a long and convoluted path, but according to this author, the Rapture - and then the Seven Year Tribulation - will begin on September 14, 2015. And thus, Christ returns in 2022.
Mark it on your calendars, people!
What’s a “Cheshvan”?
I suppose, as usual, minorities and women will be hardest hit.
Send it to me. I’ll make sure that it is used for good purposes.
Dealing with years and months and days and hours has proven many a man a false prophet...Just look at the history of the Jehova's witnesses (~7 false second coming dates), branch davidians (~3 false second coming dates), the heavens' gaters and Mormons with at least one false second coming date apiece. See referenced quotes below. Is seems enough to me to know that Christ lives, he will return, and possibly within my lifetime. Therefore I will live every day to best of my ability, following his example, trusting that he is in charge, and will come when the time is right.
"President Smith then stated that the meeting had been called, because God had commanded it; and it was made known to him by vision and by the Holy Spirit. . . . it was the will of God that they should be ordained to the ministry and go forth to prune the vineyard for the last time, for the coming of the Lord, which was nigh even fifty six years should wind up the scene." (History of the Church, Vol. 2, page 182).This prophecy was spoken by FLDS/LDS Prophet Joseph Smith in 1835, and recorded by Oliver Cowdery. The fifty-six years were passed by 1891.
Deuteronomy 18:22 (King James Version) 22 When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.

Now, who are you going to trust???
bad link !
There’s a special crown for the Watchmen on the Wall. I’m the worst sinner and fool BTW
Most of us with a Wesleyan background just figure if somethings going to happen it’s going to happen, worrying about the particulars is just getting yourself worked up. We try to live each day as it comes and don’t worry over much about the next one. Theologically speaking.
Another person that doesn’t read the article. Who’s lazy here?
Roger that Brother, I’m full of joy. We have nothing to fear. I’m merely pointing out what others have missed in scripture
We have been in the Tribulation for a number of years now.
Your dates are all wrong, stop trying to confuse people!
Congratulations.... you now know more than Jesus.
I’m sure glad He has a sense of humor.
What did I miss?
You're no Bible interpreter, either.
The Bible does NOT teach a seven year tribulation, it is a 23 year period. Have complete study explaining if anyone is interested. The day of the Lord is at hand!
For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? 1 Pet. 4:17
Actually, its called "The Great Confusion" and it started in the days of JN Darby around 1831.
That is a bit unfair, after all the Bible teaches that we have free will and in his incarnate form at the time Jesus said that to His audience, he had made Himself a little lower than the Angels and did not have ‘all of time’ vision to call upon, so He was being honest in that state of His being. The fixed endtime dates became fixed only after the free will of men had been allowed thus the endtime dates may have been possible at many junctures of History but avcoided by the free choices made by men. BUT we may have seen the negative choices and the added identity of Israel restored thus these may in fact be the set dates now that Jesus then could not see.
Too many people obsess over the prophetic day and hour of Jesus’ return. For all people that have lived, and for most that will ever live, the only last day and hour that matters is when they die. Those still living today should worry about their current spiritual condition, not some future event. If today is THE day, are you prepared?
I think that is her third or fourth choice now.
The peace agreement between Israel and the PLO, signed on October 23, 1998 corresponds to the seven days warning that God gave to Noah. This means that the world will be given seven months warning before the Rapture and the start of the Tribulation. Marilyn thus expects the Rapture in Pentecost of 1999. Given her previous track record, I suspect that this prediction should be viewed with some skepticism.
Update (5/24/99): Marilyn has altered the title of her Website to read “Why I thought the Rapture would be this Pentecost”. At this point, she appears to have run out of dates, although she did make the following statement in one of her recent postings:
“If we count 33.5 as 34, as the Jews would do, June 5, 1967 + 34 = June 5, 2001. That agrees pretty well with the Tribulation beginning on the Feast of Weeks in 2001. Sivan 7, 5761 is our May 29, the anniversary of Pentecost in 30 AD on both calendars. I feel that we have to be gone before that...”
Will this date be worked into a future chronology? Stay tuned...
Update (5/29/99): Marilyn has decided to give the Greek Orthodox Pentecost (May 30) a shot. Says Marilyn: “Also, the Israelites went in to spy out the promised land at the time of the firstripe grapes. We are still in that season. It seems to have been 10 days from when the Israelites left Sinai to when they sent the spies into the promised land. That would agree with the 10 days of tribulation in Rev. 2:10. Sivan 6 + 10 days = Sivan 16, May 31, exactly 365 days from May 31, 1998.”
Those of us poor mortals who are unable to see the connection between these events will doubtless be the very same who will be wondering where the population has got to come May 30.
Update (6/6/99): One more time around. Marilyn is holding out for a Rapture on the “astronomical Pentecost” (June 20), although apparently without much enthusiasm. Just how many Pentecosts are there, anyway?
Update (6/26/99): In her latest communiqu, Marilyn talks about the fact that David reigned in Jerusalem 33 years and Hebron for 7 years. For some reason that escapes us, this apparently might be a clue that Jesus is coming back in 2000. (1967 plus 33 years is 2000, less the seven years for the Tribulation. See?) This date is apparently strengenthed by the fact that Jesus only spoke to the Fig tree on his third visit, as recorded in Luke 13. Again, a strong clue that Jesus will be returning in 2000. (Since he only came and “looked” in 1998 and 1999, Marilyn’s two previously failed attempts at soothsaying.) Time will tell if this latest round of biblical confusion will result in a new date.
Update (7/8/99): The Energizer Bunny of biblical prophecy appears truly unstoppable. Marilyn has now decided to officially announce her vote for a rapture in the year 2000, specifically June 9/10. The Oracle speaks thusly:
“It seems that the Lord is showing us by the process of elimination, that the third year in the parable of the barren fig tree in Lu. 13:6-9 is the right year. It is the year when the Lord SPEAKS.”
It apparently has not occurred to the redoubtable scholar that on each occasion she is able to support her latest guess with Biblical proof. One suspects that 2001, 2002, 2003 etc. will similarly be sought for and found in the pages of Holy Writ.
Didn't she also predictshalom b'SHEM Yah'shua HaMashiach Adonai
1998 Marilyn Agee, in her book, The End of the Age, had her sights set on May 31, 1998.
1999 Well, you can't call Marilyn Agee a quitter. After bombing out badly several time in 1998, Marilyn set a new date for the rapture: May 21 or 22 of this year.
And a few more dates chosen by Marilyn.
Update (6/18/2000) : Well, it seems that Marilyn’s third date for the first rapture came and went with no obvious Heavenly fanfare. What of the future? Marilyn seems to think that the Church is currently in a 10-day waiting period, based on Rev 2:10. That means that June 20 should see the Rapture. This time for sure.
Update (6/25/2000) : A new note on Marilyn’s front page reads as follows:
Messianic Rabbi Michael Rood announced today on the Prophecy Club that the corrected Solar Calendar proves that Shavuot begins this year on July 9th. This because the barley was ‘Abib’, green/ripe, on June 5th.
This makes Oct. 28th Tishri 1, 6001.
If his calculations are correct then the Pentecost Rapture may still occur this year.
Update (7/2/2000) : More stupid calendar tricks. Poor old Noah has been pressed into service yet again as a harbinger of the End. In a long and very confusing piece of eisegesis, Marilyn somehow arrives at Av 19 (Aug 20) as a possible date for the Rapture. Says Marilyn:
“I wonder if the indwelling Holy Spirit of Christ will fly the dove (Bride) to her rest, Heaven, on Av 19 (Sunday, Aug. 20, 2000)?”
Uh...that would be a “no”.
Yes, she did. I actually have that book! lol She’s all over the place! Why don’t we all throw a dart?
No, the Bible does teach that there is a Great Tribulation period. Look at the pattern we are given in the abandonment of Shiloh by the Lord. Also the seven year famine during Joseph’s day and finally the years leading up to the 70 year destruction and subjugation of Judah in 587 B.C. by Nebuchadnezzar (who is a picture or type of satan).
Ark in the hands of the Philistines 7 months
7 years = 84 months
70 years = 840 months
23 years = 8400 days (365.24 days)
Is it concise enough to post as a thread?
So what is this chick doing on 12/21/2012?
It is bad, if you can understand a spiritual tribulation.
I thought everyone knew the end of the world was December 21, 2012. I’m holding out for that, because it’s when the Mayan Calendar ends. It’s scientific. /s
“Another person that doesnt read the article. Whos lazy here?”
When someone posts an article like: “Hey, Jesus isn’t the only way” or some such nonsense that directly disputes the plain words of Scripture, it doesn’t take a herculean effort to see that they are simply wrong.
Look at this:
“When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?
And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.”
He couldn’t have been more clear.
Very bad for all those who fail to recognize the time of their visitation.
This topic is folly, for the most part.
Naw the machines want to beat the Myans.
This make far more sense:shalom b'SHEM Yah'shua HaMashiach Adonai
I am sorry, but you are wrong. The Bible plainly teaches that those who are God’s elect WILL indeed know the time. Just as there are verses in the Bible which seemingly appear to say that anyone can “accept” Christ as their savior, so too, there are many verses that teach the elect will know the time.
For many of us the final day will come at the moment we die.
