So the nurse knew that the reflection is there all the time, and just wanted to make the mom feel better? That is I am assuming that the lights in the hallway are always on and the monitor is always on, etc.....

"The delivery of good medical care is to do as much nothing as possible."

Yes, but it is difficult to bill for 'nothing.' ;o)

And the angle of the photo seems odd, like the photographer was standing on a ladder?

The image is from a video survelance camera mounted near the ceiling. The photo is of the monitor showing the video image. I'm not a doubter but it does look like light coming through the windows.

We cannot possibly know what the nurse knew, or what is ‘always’ there, but the basic nature of the reflections is pretty obvious. The only question is whether the source is sunlight, or artificial.

“Angels of light” are always Satan’s lies.

Is it supposed to be the ‘Square Pants Sponge Bob Angel’?

See how the top 1/5th of the image is darker? Someone should tell the photographer to stop taking pictures of the security camera monitor.

That is just sunlight coming through a window onto the wall, and the video camera is clipping the bright part to make it look more solid.

I guess I should have read the fine article. It states that it is a picture of a security camera monitor.

Light streaming through a window onto the wall. Interesting effect, though, and doesn’t discount the power of prayer at all.

According to the article ...

“On the monitor, there was this bright light,” Colleen recalls. “And I looked at it and I said, ‘Oh my goodness! It looks like an angel!” Colleen pointed her digital camera at the monitor to take a photo of the image, but the “first picture wouldn't take.”

That would explain the angle.

Hospitals are full of angels.

They’re called nurses.

I am absolutely sure that there was an angel.

I am equally certain that this is *not* a picture of it.

It’s probably a relection bouncing off the floor, wall or whatever onto the camera lens but i’m very happy for the girl.
Merry Christmas!!

You might be right about this particular photo. As for me, I have seen my guardian angel already.

Well sparky that is true of many things. But let's try this.

Is there a window in the room to the right?

What was the weather?

What is on the door on the left that is propped open?

What time of day was it?

Was there a truck or some other large object outside the window if there is one?

What time of day was the picture taken. Until those are answered it is just an item in a picture. Of course if people chase water stains and toast marks as images of the Virgin Mary.
