San Francisco, CA (AP) -- A lesbian Presbyterian deacon's application for ordination has been stopped, at least for now.

Thanks for posting this. It’s worth pointing out that she’s been denied ordination twice before.

I really miss my old Presbyterian Church, the one before the PC crowd took over and ruined it. They should have renamed it the Touchy Feely Church of Happiness and Anything Goes.

Someone should try and sue them to relinquish the name "Presbyterian" based on truth in advertising from a historical perspective.

Five years ago we started going to an Evangelical Presbyterian Church, which broke off from the mainstream Presbyterians because they did not agree with the shift to the left on moral issues they were taken. We have been very happy with the church. The people are politically conservative, as well as the pastor, who is not only a big fan of Reagan, but also a former Army Ranger - and if given an open ear he is happy to talk about both.

It’s an uphill battle for all of us religious. The left infiltrated a few decades ago and moved right in to create confusion and eventually to dismantle. The aim is to scatter the conservative voice leaving it in small ineffective pockets.
