Where is the ecumenical outrage that was felt when Bishop Williamson’s comments were raised?
Huh.
Wonder who this God-fearin' Christian woman voted for.
I left this “church” when they elected Gene Robinson as a bishop in 2003. The ECUSA is a death cult. Last night I sat in choir practice in my evangelical church watching a grandmother cradling her 2-month-old granddaughter while she shared my music, and I thought that there was nothing more beautiful on this earth.
Sorry, all; I am “Mrs. Truth29”. My screen name is Ex-Episcopalian. I don’t speak for my husband!
Rosie O’Donnell in fancy dress.
I am going to laugh at this as to control my anger over this "preaching" thing that abortions are a BLESSING!! God does not think Killing a baby is a blessing! Adoption is an option!
Jesus and Paul warned us of false prophets and wolves in sheep’s clothing. Well, here they are, folks.
Is she disappointed that she wasn’t blessed?
Is she disappointed that SHE wasn’t aborted?
Satan prowls.
The repeated refrain . . . "If . . . then our work is still not done" . . . echoes part of the Passover Haggadah -- a song called the Dahyenuh . . . (It would be enough). .
Had God called us out of Egypt, and not judged the Egyptians, it would have been enough for us . . .
Had God judged the Egyptians, and not destroyed their idols, it would have been enough for us . . .
Had God destroyed their idols, and not slain their first born, it would have been enough for us . . .
(I saw the earlier thread and commented on it, but missed this creepy resemblance.)
Perhaps Ragsdale should have been “blessed” by abortion while in the womb.
That is creepy. Satan never stops prowling.
She’s scrubbed the “Sermon” from her blog since last night:

Abominating this sort of “preaching” and “exhortation” is not just for Roman Catholics.
Here’s a good ol’ Orthodox Christian heave-ho to the pagan priestess Ragsdale!!!!
The worst thing is that way back when I was a Harvard student (and a traditionalist Lutheran), I used to hang out at Harvard Divinity School and the Episcopal Divinity School. Now I wouldn’t want to get anywhere near either place. I just can’t stand the stink!!!!
>> Hard to believe anyone is sitting in the pews of this ghastly, God-mocking sect on a Sunday morning.
There are very few lately. Actually when you get further away from the big cities (especially on the east coast), things get somewhat better.
My ex-church in the mountains west of Denver had about 220 communicants when the new dimwitted priestess (with a set of brass ovaries the size of a dumptruck) arrived 10 years ago. The few remaining vestry harpies and sacristy rats just put her on 3/4 time pay (after reducing her salary several times). The joint is about to revert to mission status.
I would love to be standing in line behind this gal on judgement day just so I could see the look on her face when God consigns her to hell.
I'm still there, formerly on the vestry, praying for miracles to restore this once-Godly church to its former glory. Unfortunately, it moves farther to the left each year...there are cries now for same-sex marriage rites to be incorporated into the Book of Common Prayer as well as turning the whole Rite I and II liturgical orders on their heads for "stituations" such as the Rev. Ragsdale describes. Pray!
O.K., I'm remembering that one.
Sixth-generation Episcopalian here (my gggg grandfather John Bale was baptised in 1795 in St. Giles Cripplegate, City of London) but we couldn't stand it any longer and swam the Tiber.
Couldn't be happier. Good reverent Mass, sound theology, and our choirmaster loves Byrd, Tallis, Farrant, Purcell, Howells, and Stanford . . . so we're not missing a thing.
That would be the best of all possible worlds, if you're "high church" (as we were).
But you'd be surprised how satisfactory to the English mind a good reverent Ordinary Rite Mass is.
So when does Miss Ragsdale start the movement to make her fellow Massachusettsian Susan Johnson a patron saint in the Episcopal Church?

The Dean of an Episcopal seminary has officially endorsed child sacrifice as a part of her religion. Creepy Druid Rowan Williams says nothing—too busy combing his eyebrows.
