Amen! Love this song, we did it at the end of our Christmas Eve services in December. It’s become one of my favorite songs - it reminds me of what Don Piper wrote about the music in heaven in his book “90 Minutes in Heaven”. Beautiful.

I cannot understand some of the Christian Freepers who put down these kinds of worship experiences. If they only knew.

Amen. Not just Chrisitan Freepers, but many Christians in general...

Yes. They just don’t get it. True worship glorifies and honors God and He is well pleased.

Yes we have, actually more often than Heaven’s Song.

Where do you worship? We go to Austin Christian Fellowship; I play the cello there. My wife and I are going to the Willow Creek worship conference in June; Hillsong United will be there with us - I’m looking forward to that!

Good morning Ted. We live in Cherokee County GA (north of Atlanta) and have been worshipping at Fellowship Bible Church for 10+ years...with the exception of 1 year ('05-'06) that we lived in Keller TX. During that time we worshipped at Gateway Church in Southlake TX. That's where we first saw the Gateway Worship praise band...and loved them from day one. The day of our last service before we moved back to GA was when they released their first CD, "Living For You". The video clips I posted yesterday come from their 2nd CD/DVD "Wake Up The World" released last year.

Of course, Kari Jobe of Gateway Worship has also launched her solo career and her recent CD has reached #1 on Christian download charts on iTunes and Amazon and remains in Top 50. She is best known for "Revelation Song" now sung in thousands of churches every week, and her latest single "I'm Singing" gets a lot of Christian radio air time lately.

Gateway is being compared to Hillsong, as they both came from similar churches, both write most of their own music, both have a featured female vocalist, etc. I love listening to both but obviously I am partial to Gateway.

We got to know Kari's father a bit at the church and have met the band when on tour here in GA...they are great people and very humble, love The Lord with all their hearts.

If it seems I am promoting them the answer is yes, but just of my own doing. It's one small way to help share the good news and also bring music and joy and praise to our Saviour through His people.

Praise God!

Good morning LadyPilgrim. I'm glad you enjoyed that, it is quite beautiful. You may want to check out some of the other links I have posted for other songs, also some background on Gateway Worship in above post.

Sorry, my link for Fellowship Bible Church was not correct. We have a great Senior Pastor, Crawford Loritts, you may have heard of him via his work with Campus Crusades For Christ, or Promise Keepers, or many books he has written.

Thank you again! And may God bless you and all those you love!

Hey Mark, thanks for the reply and Happy Easter! We had great services this weekend, what fun to worship on such a victorious day. I have heard of Crawford but have not read his books, I’ve been to 2 PK events. God bless!
