This song is, to me, what heaven will 'sound like'...beautiful song from Gateway Worship...America's leading praise and worship band, featuring Kari Jobe (although she does not sing lead on this song).
Watch this on full screen and turn up the sound or plug in your head sets!
Heaven's Song by Gateway Worship
Thought you might like this...
I will praise God with you anytime!
Beautiful, awesome song.
Great find, thanks for posting.
Amen! Love this song, we did it at the end of our Christmas Eve services in December. It’s become one of my favorite songs - it reminds me of what Don Piper wrote about the music in heaven in his book “90 Minutes in Heaven”. Beautiful.
Had me worshipping from the depths of who I am.
Here's another one of my favorites from Gateway...
LOVELY! I’m sending it to our worship leaders.
I cannot understand some of the Christian Freepers who put down these kinds of worship experiences. If they only knew.
Amen. Not just Chrisitan Freepers, but many Christians in general...
Yes. They just don’t get it. True worship glorifies and honors God and He is well pleased.
Yes we have, actually more often than Heaven’s Song.
Where do you worship? We go to Austin Christian Fellowship; I play the cello there. My wife and I are going to the Willow Creek worship conference in June; Hillsong United will be there with us - I’m looking forward to that!
Oh wow! This song leaves me breathless and teary in praise for our mighty KING Jesus!
Hallelujah to His name!
Thank you for such sweetness this morning.
Of course, Kari Jobe of Gateway Worship has also launched her solo career and her recent CD has reached #1 on Christian download charts on iTunes and Amazon and remains in Top 50. She is best known for "Revelation Song" now sung in thousands of churches every week, and her latest single "I'm Singing" gets a lot of Christian radio air time lately.
Gateway is being compared to Hillsong, as they both came from similar churches, both write most of their own music, both have a featured female vocalist, etc. I love listening to both but obviously I am partial to Gateway.
We got to know Kari's father a bit at the church and have met the band when on tour here in GA...they are great people and very humble, love The Lord with all their hearts.
If it seems I am promoting them the answer is yes, but just of my own doing. It's one small way to help share the good news and also bring music and joy and praise to our Saviour through His people.
Praise God!
Thank you dear one...I’ll do just that....but it won’t be until later though. :-)
I need to get my baking/cooking done for the Lord’s Glorious Resurrection Day! I don’t want to eat out....
Thank you again! And may God bless you and all those you love!
