James Dobson claims the culture war has been lost! In a message to his staff at Focus on the Family that was never meant to be heard by the outside world, Dr. James Dobson, in his own words, stated that the culture war had been lost. After the tape of his talk was leaked to the public, he began damage control, going on Sean Hannity's program (he went on no other programs despite numerous offers by other programs to have him on) since Hannity would never challenge him, claiming the "media took him out of context." The fact is, the media is not to blame for his words, he is. While I totally disagree that the culture war has been lost, I do agree with Dr. Dobson that we are losing...primarily because of poor leadership from men like him!!!
I remember doing a Devotional back in 2004 on Rev. Sun Myung Moon, the 90-year-old founder of the Unification Cult. In the research for that Devotional, I found out that in the 80s a host of major Christian leaders including Dobson took hundreds of thousands of dollars, in some cases, millions, from Moon disguised as donations from his various pro-family and conservative groups he founded to gain mainstream credibility. All respect I had for Dr. Dobson was immediately lost as it became apparent that the "business" of Focus on the Family took precedence over the ministry of Focus on the Family.
The next evidence of this came when I was standing alone in the secular media 2 years ago, trying to expose the FACT that Mitt Romney was not a Christian as he claimed, but the member of a satanic cult. I was mystified why supposed Christian leaders like Dobson never came to my rescue. How naive. Why would he when he was in bed with the Mormons? Dobson should have dealt with Romney's candidacy in the only way a true leader could, and that was to clearly state he would never vote for or have anything to do with someone who is the member of a satanic cult but would pray for him to turn from the lies of Mormonism and to faith in the Jesus of the Bible!
However, that is not what Dr. Dobson did. He danced around the Romney question, refusing to take a stand against his candidacy. He even kept the door open to support Romney should he have won the Republican nomination. Recently he interviewed Mormon Glenn Beck and promoted Beck's book to his audience, WHILE NEVER ONCE TELLING PEOPLE BECK WAS PART OF THE SATANIC MORMON CULT!!! What would make a man of God do this? MONEY! One of the things that makes the Mormon cult so attractive is their dedication to family. They are no doubt big consumers of the family-friendly resources Focus on the Family sells.
Did you know that Focus on the Family has formed a political alliance with the Mormon cult? The alliance is called the World Congress of Families (WCOF). It is a United Nations lobbying group STARTED AND FUNDED by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS), better known as the Mormon CULT!!! FOF has actually been holding planning committee meetings on their Colorado Springs campus with officials from the WCOF, BYU and other Mormon organizations! This alliance flies in the face of clear Scriptural mandates to not form alliances with the enemies of God. Dobson refused to speak out on Romney being part of a satanic cult because his ministry is in bed with and makes money off of that satanic cult!!!
Recently, my good friend and a true warrior for Christ Steve Deace who hosts a radio program on the secular Newstalk WHO in Des Moines, Iowa, interviewed Dr. Dobson's right hand man Tom Minnery. It was a powerful interview as Deace got Minnery to share that Dobson admitted the culture war was lost and exposed the hypocrisy of Dobson and Focus on numerous other topics, revealing that Dobson is about money and power first, and the cause of Christ second. *For the record, I reached out to Dr. Dobson over 30 times in the past week to give him the opportunity to respond to all of these issues, but he did not even have the decency to respond to any of my calls.
For those who want to rip into me for simply stating the truth about Dobson, I would refer you to Matthew 23 and the words of Jesus who took to task the religious leaders of His day in a very hardcore fashion. What invoked such anger and vitriol from our Lord towards those religious leaders?
COMPROMISE! When I rip into Osteen, Warren, Jakes, Dobson, and others who have exalted themselves to positions of leadership simply by virtue they built large organizations, it is because of the COMPROMISE they have persisted in to build and perpetuate these organizations that take in tens of millions of dollars each year.
They have placed dollars ahead of the Gospel, political correctness ahead of the Truth, and their agenda ahead of God's agenda. THIS is why we have been losing the culture war. Leaders like Dobson have compromised for their own interests, creating hundreds of little fiefdoms so we have never spoken with one unified voice. Each voice had their own interests at heart over God's, and thus we remain divided, never being taken seriously, and without the strength to do much except raise tens of millions of dollars on issues we never had a plan to see victory.
Think I am wrong? Why have men like Dobson who take in $80 to $100 million annually, never go on SECULAR TV, SECULAR RADIO, to take their case to the masses in the marketplace? Simple. It was not a good business model. The lost masses don't send you donations, don't buy your books and resources, don't come to your events. They certainly don't help you build glass buildings and have staffs of 200-300 people. No, to do that you have to simply preach to the choir in the Christian trough, insuring your message never gets to the people who need it the most.
THIS IS WHY DR. DOBSON IS CORRECT, AND THE CULTURE WAR HAS NOT BEEN WON. CHRISTIAN LEADERS LIKE HIMSELF NEVER HAD VICTORY AS THEIR GOAL, ONLY BUILDING THEIR OWN KINGDOM INSTEAD OF GOD'S KINGDOM!!!
I love you and care about you so much. People can rip me for telling the truth, that is fine, I am used to taking the heat. I know those who have been seduced by Dobson and Focus for years will unsubscribe and stop donating to Liveprayer. That is OK. I am not here to please man but God. Men don't supply the needs of this ministry, God does. They literally killed Jesus for telling the Truth. I will state without hesitation that men like Dobson have squandered the supports of millions of people and hundreds of millions of dollars to build their legacy, and not God's. You don't need hundreds of millions to turn this nation back to God. Ten to twelve million a year would do the job very effectively if you are not building buildings, but truly trying to lead this nation back to God and to His Truth.
LET ME SAY THIS AS CLEAR AS I CAN. THE CULTURE WAR IS NOT LOST AND IT CAN BE WON!! I can only encourage you today. God has raised up Liveprayer for this moment in human history. If I didn’t care for your salvation I wouldn’t worry about what you believe but I don’t want to see anyone perish. My prayer is like Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.”
Well, heck... I even had the Moonies give me money in the 80s... LOL...
They paid for my trip to a political convention in Miami, Florida, where I saw Ollie North and Fawn Hall speak, along with a number of other speakers. The moonies covered the plane flight, the Hotel Intercontinental (where I saw the Sandinistas and the Contras passing and meeting the lobby... LOL...). They paid for all my meals and everything else in the hotel.
The only thing I paid for was to go out of the hotel and see other things in the city.
It was a trip sponsored by the Moonies for certain members of a legislators “entourage” (which I was part of, a local conservative legislator in Oregon politics).
I haven’t changed my attitudes or views on the Bible and/or Christianity because of the Moonies... :-)

I might not know what I am doing but in the scripture you refer to Christ was referring to the Romans who were crucifying him.
This is what I know, if any of these are wrong you tell me.
1. Christ is the Son of God
2. He was born of a virgin Mary.
3. Christ did nothing except teach others the Good News, heal the sick, comfort the afflicted, forgive the repentant, and raise the dead
3. It through the sacrifice of Christ and Him only that will give me any chance of not going to Hell.
4. Without the Savior the entire world would be lost forever.
5. Christ was crucified and then resurrected 3 days later.
6. Christ loves every person.
7. As far as my doing, instead of crucifying the Savior as the Roman soldiers were doing, I try to help those that need help, and mourn with those that mourn.
8. I sin and do wrong every day and when I do I am even more thankful for my Savior.
If that is Satanic then that says more about you than me.
I’m not sure what’s worse - what the author claims that Dobson said, or the lengthy FoF-has-always-been-compromised rant that follows.
That is what the Mormons want you to believe without digging into what they truly believe. Watch post #31 and read #39 and you will find out what is really behind the Mormons.

Except for the Bible, you have no idea what I have studied, thought, read or otherwise. Take it from me. I know what Mormons teach and believe.
If a love for the Savior is Satanic then it is by your words not mine.
When do I find out what Mormons really believe? When I reach the 58th level of Mormonism right? At what level of Mormonism do we start preaching Satanism.?
Since I am only at level 3 then I guess all I am worthy to be taught is that Christ is my Savior.

Totally agree. The war is not lost. The Church will come out stronger. Whenever the Church has been persecuted, it’s grown stronger. We are going to go through some difficult days but our God is faithful.

Each of these terrible things is, or has been, an integral part of Mormon Temple Rites. The portrayal of pastors as satanic stooges, prayers for the overthrow of the US Government (as punishment for Mormon persecution) and the chanting of "Marvelous Lucifer" in Hebrew were eliminated a few years ago because of protests received after outsiders learned about them – despite Smith’s stern admonition that the ceremony was received directly from god and could not be changed upon penalty of death. All of the remaining practices are performed to this day.

There are many more remaining questions including Satanic symbols prominently displayed on Mormon buildings, the use of occult means and methods (such as peep stones and talismans) by Mormon leaders to "translate" sacred Mormon scripture (from pagan text worshiping Egyptian gods of the underworld), the portrayal of Jesus as the half-brother of Satan, the teaching that God (separate and distinct from Jesus) is a celestial stud on the planet Kolob, the existence of a mother goddess wife, and more.

Mormonism, however is extremely troubling.
I urge you to check out the annotations provided in my posting before you make up your mind entirely. As you do this, remember that I can provide much more information upon request.
But if the economy really are going to be bad for a while, many of the distractions of the recent past are going to pass away and people will come back around to belief in God.
As you can see HERE, every religious group with a large number of believers has had its share of famous and infamous adherents. And as you can see, the number of famous Mormons is quite small when compared to leading Christians, Jews and even pagans.
Your combination of ad hominem and specious arguments proves nothing more than your inability to refute the facts shown in my original post.
