I was an immigrant...

Although my family had been here for generations until my g-g-grandfather left...

I applied and jumped through every hoop neccessary to come back to our “old country”

My mother taught me that it was wrong to break into the sovereign country of the USA

She was appalled at the practice of women in labor trespassing on American Embassy grounds to have their babies in “America”

And there are a lot of hoops. But you are glad you did jump through those hoops, right?

Another thing I see is my family members who were immigrants all sought to become citizens, learn English, all were proud to become Americans, all of them voted and loved this country and were conservative.

What I see with the illegals (and I live in a high illegal immigrant area), is that they DO NOT want to become Americans, they hate this country except for what they can get out of it, they fly their Mexico flags, refuse to learn English and some openly talk about taking back California through Revolution. And we are supposed to reward them?
