I would have liked to hear the pagan scientist’s disagreements in particular

Pagan scientists? Wherever did you get that idea from the article? Several of the scientists explicity said they were Christians.

It’s fine to say that God created but then you need to explain how. Evolution is the best explanation we have so far. Genesis doesn’t say how it was done, just that it was done.

No disrespect to anyone’s religious beliefs, but I don’t see the point of some guys creating this ahistorical “museum”.

We have irrefutable proof that man evolved from apes. They are called Democrats.

(drum roll)

“Pagan scientists? Wherever did you get that idea from the article?”

Unfortunately, to many here, the term “pagan scientists” is redundant.

They won’t be laughing in the end.

Threatening torture. The Christian way to settle a scientific question. God's way.

It worked with Galileo, right? At least it made him shut up about it.

I didn’t threaten anything. And Galileo was a creationist.

It is entirely possible to believe in Evolution, to a point, as the method that God used in His Creation plan.

So you pick and choose which passages of the bible you want to believe?

Evolving from non living materials is even more laughable.

I wouldn’t be comfortable with your state of confusion.

The vast majority of Christians do not think that the Bible is intended to be science book or a history book.

It is meant to teach us how to live, not how life began.

How would YOU explain DNA and biology to illiterate people?

I agree with your post completely.

This particular topic is not even in the top 20 things we need to worry about.

Evolving from an ape is just as laughable.

Then if you ever go to a science museum feel free to let out a chuckle or two.

What does that have to do with how the world was created. Do you think that God is limited in his ability to create DNA? Do you just pick and choose which parts of the bible to believe?

Do you fully understand how a even single cell in fully operates? The truth is that despite the study by tens of thousands of people all over the world, no one does. ONE cell is so incredibly complicated that how it functions still remains a mystery.

There are MANY things in this world that cannot be fully explained by science. For example, why do the neutrons in an atom stay put? How did the big bang throw material billions of light years from itself in an instant? Why is there sand less than a foot from the surface covering hundreds of square miles on top of a plateau in Tennessee 2000 feet above sea level? How did a tree manage to remain standing for millions of years while TWO separate coal deposits formed around it? Why are there no fossils of pre-platypus like animals? Why are there huge gaps in the fossil record?

Funny that Hollywood can envision “the Genesis factor” in “The Search for Spock” in less than a billion pages. All it took was The Word.

Well, now you know how the scientists felt.
