THE QUESTION that CHANGED MY LIFE
-by David Ryser
A number of years ago, I had the privilege of teaching at a school of ministry. My students were hungry for God, and I was constantly searching for ways to challenge them to fall more in love with Jesus and to become voices for revival in the Church. I came across a quote attributed most often to Rev. Sam Pascoe. It is a short version of the history of Christianity, and it goes like this:

we need warnings before pics of Rosie O’Donnell are thrown up
Whew, for a minute there, I thought this was going to be a post about Simon Magus and Ennoia.
I posted Rosie as I found her....Sorry!
(gosh, I think she has done something with her hair..she looks more, uh, er, “fetching”)
fetching, interesting term.... sit Ubu sit
It’s a great story in spite of the Rosie picture!
Very good post and I am afraid I let the church beat a lot of the love out of me - their fault but my problem!
Blessings

OK, I will read it
Very insightful story.
Loving God starts by reading His Word.
Jesus said that loving God is defined as doing what He says. I cannot do what He says unless I know what He says. I cannot know what He says unless I read what He says.
Put another way, without faith it is impossible to please God. And faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ.
Either way, I best get familiar with the Word of God.
But when a body becomes a business, isnt that a prostitute?
Not unless the body is having SEX for money. Bodies are used as business all the time: Carpenters, firemen, athletes, lumberjacks, models.......
This is not a new question. During the age of scholasticism the question was asked, “Would you love and serve God even if you knew for certain that you were going to hell?”
Frankly, I think that this whole article is a bunch of crap, and the person that wrote it has no idea of what he is talking about. He has the question turned backwards. If he actually does believe that he loves God perfectly, he is in worse spiritual shape than he can imagine.
What this guy never read the Book of Job?
Who’s teaching at seminaries now, anyway?
