Prayers for all involved and the National Guard.

How very sad in all cases, but especially when high expectations turn to tragedy!

I7, Meehan Junction is west of Meridian.
The accident occurred between Meridian and the Alabama line.

This is terrible!
My thoughts and prayers are with the children, and their families.

Thank you for the ping, WKB.
Didn’t you know the Meridian Star isn’t with Gannett? ;o)

This one hits close to home. I drive busloads of kids to a Christian camp several times a year. 900 mile round trip.

Oh dear Lord, please be with these children and with their families as they sort through this tragedy. Still the storm of fears in the children as they wait for Mom & Dad, and give strength and courage to Mom & Dad as they try to reach their children. Peace in the turmoil through your presence Dear Jesus.

Thanks for the ping. I’m in Meridian, but was totally out of the loop all day yesterday. This is the first I’ve heard. Prayers for everyone involved & their families.
