Diocese of Minnesota Nominates Partnered Lesbian for Bishop [Episcopal Gay Church Alert]
Stand Firm in Faith ^ | August 1, 2009 | Greg Griffith

Barely two weeks after General Convention, the Diocese of Minnesota has nominated Bonnie Perry, a partnered lesbian, for bishop.

Integrity is "delighted" at the news, saying that "the actions of our General Convention will put a sad chapter of discrimination against the LGBT baptized behind us."

Time to return to the Catholic Church, or at the very least move over to the Anglican Church in America. It is amazing how many Episcopal priests have converted to Catholicism and been accepted as Catholic priests, wife and all.

Who cares what these degenerate Communists do? TEC is not a Christian organization — it is a front from the Communist Party USA and the radical fairies of every stripe. It is, in fact, deeply and irreversibly anti-Christ and anti Christian. They can have the pathetic dyke and dyke partner lick each others’ p*ssy in front of the congregation for all I care. To hell with them.

All non-Catholic denominations are now in a state of complete free fall. They are collapsing like sand castles near a shoreline. In the end only the Catholic Church will remain like the Rock of Gibraltar.

No it won’t. Not all churches will but many will fall away before He returns. But the true Body of Christ, faithful to Him, will not fall away. Buildings will fall but not His faithful ones. Catholics and Protestants alike are part of the Body of Christ when they’re born again.

It’s a shame that Americas churches are falling so quickly. Everybody should put full effort into supporting their local church and keep them safe from Sinners.

A twofold reason for the demise of so many Protestant denominations is that they both forgot their origins, their uniqueness of doctrines, and with them, the importance of undying principles.

If you took a lay Methodist, a Baptist, an Episcopalian, a Lutheran, a Presbyterian, and several others in a room, and asked them to distinguish their faith from the other faiths, the ignorance would be telling.

Since they cannot state why their religion is unique, and what are the major principles of their particular faith, they can hardly be expected to distinguish them from secular arguments, no matter how transitory and trendy.

Compare that to the general knowledge of those who belong to the Orthodox faiths. Even the grubbiest of the “social Catholics”, who disagree with most of the doctrines of the faith they claim, if not embrace, at least *know* to some extent what those doctrines are.

And if you put a half dozen lay Orthodox faithful in a room, you can bet that *they* would know the differences between their religions. And importantly, they would likely be able to name the undying doctrines of their churches.

I might add that this bodes well for the Orthodox faiths in America, as with the withering of the Protestant denominations, there seems to be growth in the Orthodox faiths, and not just Roman Catholicism.

In my local metro area, I’ve seen churches sprouting up for Greek Orthodox, Ukrainian Orthodox, Russian Orthodox, Serbian Orthodox, Romanian Orthodox, Coptic Orthodox, Eastern Orthodox, and Orthodox Church of India.

And while there is some ethnic attachment, these churches are getting new members, ex-Protestants who are tired of the loss of sacred principles in their old churches.

I don’t know if they’re counting the bi-sexuals or not. The media makes us think there are many more than I believe there actually are. 2% is probably more accurate than the 10% they always cite. Two percent is a lot when you think of the population of the US. I’m only guessing at this, you know, LOL.

We need to be praying for our churches and their pastors. We have a time of prayer for our church and our pastors every Sunday morning at 9:30. It’s a shame more don’t bother to come downstairs. Lots of apathy in Christianity.

The sad thing is, even if a church wants to defy God and accept gay priests, given how few of them there are, it’s a slap in the face to the non-gay priests to be passed over for these promotions.

Of course, they wouldn’t have to worry about making lesbians into Bishops if they hadn’t let women be leaders to begin with.

There will be a Catholic Church standing strong, but there’s a lot of Catholic churches that are falling fast as well.

Benedictine saying: “When pruned, its grows”
The dead liberal branches of the Church need to be clipped off.

That is what valid studies have shown for a number of years. More than 2% for males, less than 2% females. I suspect in the last few years the numbers have increased some because of the homosexual drive to teach and encourage young people to get into the lifestyle. But not much.

Of course the activists like to broadcast that more than 10% are sodomites - not true.
