“The real problem lies in mans inability to believe in that which he cannot see or understand in the physical realm.”

1Cr 15:39 All flesh [is] not the same flesh: but [there is] one [kind of] flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, [and] another of birds.yea but that's symbolic...Symbolic of what??? Well it must be evolution because that's what I believe in...
God clearly defines what a day is in Genesis as a 24 our period, and then continues to describe what He did on each one of those days.
Thay's symbolic as well...Six days actually means 300 billion quadtrillion days...Or was that months...Doesn't matter...It has to mean that or my belief in evolution won't work...
And then God said that He made every thing after it's own kind...That's symbolic too...But don't ask me what it's a symbol of...

I think Rush describes it best with “Symbolism over Substance”.

This thread should be good for a few hundred replies.
No it won't. The FR creationist crew believes the position of the author to be as evil, liberal and stupid as an evolutionist. They believe the earth to be 6,000 years old and some still think the sun orbits the earth. To hold any other position means you are not a true Christian and a liberal plant.
But, they won't say that here, because their kookiness would be exposed to other Christians, and they hate that.
Those who accept the naturalist explanation of evolution won't really argue the author either. For one, he's correct on many counts - namely that Darwin nor his theory even discuss the origins of life. Heck, the article even pointed out how strong evolutionary theory is and exposed a few creationist canards.
As an atheist conservative who accepts evolution as fact, I have no real problems with the article at all.
Creationists, or more specifically, FR YEC's are the ones who have major issues with it.

(Let's keep Conservatism real.)
The problem with accepting the “God created Man via evolution” argument is that there are substantial problems with evolution. There is still no, ZERO, evidence of new kinds of life being created. The only observed changes have occurred among the same kinds of animals. We have all types of dogs, birds, horses, you name it. Evolutionists keep telling us, “Wait, we’re getting there!”. No, you’re not. You’re not any closer. In fact, as science unravels the mysteries of life, we find only more difficulty with the Blind Watchmaker concept. It simply isn’t possible from a scientific or mathematic perspective. That’s why so many will find refuge in the idea of a God-guided evolution, since the prospect of nothing emerging into something (US) is just impossible.
