I don’t believe he is the antichrist but I believe he is here to prepare the way for the antichrist. Antichrist will have the ability to fool the very best. Obama is too transparent.
I agree w/ you. Besides, I thought the Bible said that the Anti-Christ was going to be Jewish & rule from the Revived Roman Empire, which is Europe...& NO, that is NOT an anti-Semitic statement, it’s not meant in that manner one bit.
I won’t go so far as to say he is the antichrist himself. I don’t think he is. He will have to impress the world a whole lot more with his intellect and knowledge than he is doing now to fit the position, and so far, all he is doing is showing he is an idiot, a butt-kissing appeaser, and he throws a baseball like my sister. A popular idiot, but an idiot. The antichrist won’t need a teleprompter.
But the spirit of the antichrist I feel, is in him and he is paving the way for bigger things to come. Since Obama was elected things seem to be moving way too fast not to see that something BIG, and terrifying has been set in motion. Something apocalyptic set loose, something foreseen by the prophet Daniel.
When I was a young Christian in the 1970’s I got caught up in all of those end-time books lining the bibles book stores shelves. The most notable was Hal Lindseys, The Late Great Planet Earth. Although they were fascinating reading, so much of it seemed like too far fetched to believe it could happen in my life time.
Cashless Society?
In the 1970’s the thought of using a debit card almost anyplace, including vending machines and parking lots seems just too far out. Well today I go weeks without paper money or coin. I can probably can go without it all together, if it wasn’t for the coffee kitty at work.
ONE World Leader?
This was always a great mystery. How could one man become so popular so fast as to set him self up as God in a short 3 ½ years. Mystery no more. I am not saying Obama is the Antichrist, but his coming from nowhere in such a short time to become a Godhead among his Koolaid drinking followers that spread beyond our borders, is just to strange. It shows you how fast the real Antichrist can enter the World Stage.

The term 666 refers to how much money Salomon got in taxes one year after he ‘went rouge’ on God. This was considered an unbearable burden on the people of ancient Israel. Obama raised close to 666 million dollars and his policies will eventually raise taxes to an unbearable level.
The bible mentions a “Head Wound” as one of the things about the Antichrist.
This means something that is a mortal wound, that will stop you in your tracks, that will make normal life impossible.
Could it be the fact that legally he is ineligible to serve?
Certainly that would have been a mortal wound for most presidential campaigns.
It has been reported that one of his first major acts as President was to federally fund stem cell research (which is superfluous since adults stem cells will do) and to fund abortions worldwide. Not only does this sound exactly like the first thing that the AntiChrist would do, Europe is already in danger of going to Sharia law because of low birth rates of Christians compared to Muslims.
While it is widely accepted that the Catholic Church will be the instrument of the devil in the end days, actually the antichrist will have a confrontation with the Catholic Church. This story broke recently:

The antichrist is expected to be rather hard on Israel. This looks like it might be shaping up. It also looks like he will use the ‘fairness doctrine’ to silence talk radio, the Internet and Fox news. He has talked about a ‘civilian force as well funded as the military’ that will NOT be like Nazi brown shirts. The Bible is clear that the Antichrist is male.

Oprah Winfrey is an antichrist, a false prophetess, and part of the Antichrist's world system.

If the spirit of the Antichrist was already in the world at the time of John writing these words, then how much more so in these last days? Oprah will have an answer to her question, “what about Jesus?”, soon.
You’re certainly free to believe whatever you want. But there is no quatrain from Nostradamus about “loopholes” and not being a “native of the country.”
A simple Google search quickly shows the passage appearing all over the internet, but nowhere in any of Nostradamus’s writings. What you proffer as being from “Nostradamus on the Antichrist” is of far more recent vintage. It comes—perhaps fittingly—from a woman in Arkansas.
The quote traces to a 1989 book by self-proclaimed psychic, hypnotist and past-life regression practitioner, Delores Cannon. The book is titled “Conversations With Nostradamus.” She claims to have mentally hooked up with Nostradamus himself for a series of newsy little chats, the content of which she happily hawked at UFO conferences and the Art Bell show.
Since any and all meaning can (and is) shoved into Nostradamus’s quatrains after the fact to make the writings appear to be prophetic, there’s no need to make up new ones. And there are plenty of reasons to oppose Obama without having to invoke the ramblings of self-promoting Arkansans in hypnotic trances.

It is still far fetched. There is nothing in the Bible about a cashless society in the end times. That was truly a futurist fantasy. Your other items fall into pretty much the same category if you carefully compare them with what is really in the Bible.

Have you seen his web site? Yes, he's a critic of Obama and socially conservative, but he's made up his own religion and seems as race-obsessed as any leftist Black preacher (see his comments on Harlem and "Father Ham").
Most of the stuff I've heard him say from a doctrinal standpoint is pretty straight-up New Testament Christian orthodoxy, it's just that he doesn't carry a denominational label such as "Baptist," "Lutheran," etc.
As far as "race-obcessed," I would only say that context is everything. He expresses grave dissapointment with the black culture for what they have become as a people. He remembers a time when, as a group, they feared and loved G-d and strived (strove?) to live by His Commandments.
I've also heard him readily admit to the use of hyperbole "to get people's attention." We may not agree with the method, but I couldn't imagine living in Harlem and being completely surrounded by enemies, trying to pursue holiness. I admire his strength.
How's your mom BTW? She is still on my heart, and continues to be in my prayers. Mine's in a nursing home with Alzheimer's, so when I pray for mine, I pray for "ZC's mom" too.
I know there was a time when it was Blacks rather than poor Southern whites whose religiosity was mocked. I know they've lived here for five four hundred years--far to long to be alien or strange. As an old Southern Civil War Republican, I've always thought of American Blacks as simply "rednecks of color." But I must sadly admit that of late my view of them has become to change, and not in a good way. Have they always been leftist intellectuals posing as "ignorant, child-like fundies," waiting for the moment to "come out of the closet?" Did they discuss the Hegelian dialectic in the "middle passage" on the way over? Did Nat Turner die for "gay rights?" Maybe I have been a fool. They certainly seem absolutely nothing like I always thought, and I don't understand. I know that the Left leaves their religious beliefs alone (unlike the way they treat mine) and that they'll never be asked to support "gay rights" or western European science. Either these people have changed from Dr. Jekyll to Mr. Hyde or they've been terrible people from the very beginning and hid it very, very well (you know, like the Beatles before they released "Sgt. Peppers's").
I still think Manning's a little strange. He preaches Black world supremacy (which is "left wing" why?) and has invented a new version of chr*stianity that is neither Catholic nor Protestant but something of his own making. And he claims G-d speaks to him on a regular basis. But we'll see. It's all out of my hands. I'm just so bitterly disappointed.

So sorry to hear about your beloved mother. Mine seems to be doing better, but I worry that she's just putting up a brave front for me. This has got to hurt so much, and the whole thing seems so pointless and cruel (I know it's really not, that there is a reason). Her last remaining pet, an eleven year old cat who is too old to play anymore, does his best to cheer her up. It will be a week ago tomorrow. Thank you so much for your prayers.
We seem to be experiencing the same horrible things on both the universal and personal scales. Maybe that's a sign that we haven't much longer to wait. I certainly hope so!
