How is Rev. Jack Schuler allowed to preach?

The Sunday after 9-11-2001 I attended Mass at Our Lady of Guadelupe Church in Cool Valley. During the sermon, instead of words to encourage, mourn or unite I heard the priest rail about "the corrupt men who control Alan Greenspan" at which point I got up, turned on my heel and walked out the center aisle of the church, accompanied by the gasps of the elderly parishoners. Fast-forward to today, when I go to Mass at St. Ferdinand's in Florissant. I think there's something familiar about the priest, and then he blames the desire for wealth for all the evils of the modern world...including abortion! This is Father Jack Schuler, hater of Jews and the successful. I'd like to know how this guy gets another parish after Guadelupe. He should be defrocked instead.

‘men who control Alan Greenspan’

I dunno ‘who’ controls Alan. But he screwed America. We are slaves to the National debt and the economy he helped create.

Btw, you seem to be going to some weird churches, perhaps your judgment needs to be better.

Like the other poster said, ask your bishop. The only answer that matters is the one your bishop gives.

Good for you on walking out....some of these priests are not followers of the Lord but of the politics of envy and jealousy, I seem to remember someone said Do Not covet thy neighbors goods....nor his man servant nor his maid servant nor anything that is thy neighbors. Including his wife...Gee where did I hear that before....

Schuler is/was a leader in the Gamaliel Foundation, whose platform states: “Segregation and racism are primary and driving forces inside American politics, culture and society.” They’re all for healthcare/immigration “reform.”

And lookee here! Guess who used to be a Gamaliel organizer! That’s right, Obama! (Scroll to bottom.)

BTW, that “Transportation Equity Network” that Schuler is the president of, is a just another Gamaliel group.

He’s also head of Metropolitan Congregations United, which is a member of We Can Mo, dedicated to preserving affirmative action:
