Been there, done that. Once our church had grown enough to need the high school gym, our setup crew reported at 5:00 a.m., began with prayer to "warm up" spiritually and then got plenty of physical exercise (500 folding chairs). The Israelites set up their tabernacle before God authorized them to build the Temple!

It is a distinct blessing now to have our own large building, but we could always resume if we had to. If we had grown complacent, God might require it, but I think we are using that energy now to impact the larger community (both locally and internationally) for Christ.

You do what you gotta. My Catholic parish started in a strip-center storefront.
