Ardi Not A Missing Link!
Pravda ^ | October 10, 2009 | Babu G. Ranganathan

Posted on 10/13/2009 2:48:10 AM PDT by bogusname

The problem with evolutionary news of fossil finds, like the recent discovery of Ardi, is that the public is given an impression in the popular media that all scientists agree with the evolutionary conclusions of such finds. The public is never, or very rarely, exposed to scientific disagreements. There are many assumptions and personal interpretations of the fossil evidence which are conveniently passed on by the media as scientific fact. What we know of Ardi is that it is an extinct primate with all the features of an ape. But, it was a unique ape, not like any of the apes living today. Ardi had features found in various ape species. Ardi was a mosaic of various ape features, but it was still compeletely ape. No part of Ardi was in any transition to becoming human. Some evolutionists simply assume Ardi to be an ancestor of humans simply because it was a unique ape.

there is no, one, missing link.

over the long haul, there is a myriad of pieces in the evolutionary trail, of all species. It is impossible to have a representitive sampling down to all individual subgroups due to loses by rot...but we can get a good picture from what is left.

Archaeological finds supporting the Biblical account have proven to be more reliable.

There is no missing link HERE and they will never find one HERE or anywhere on this earth. I love how “experts,” who cannot possibly BE experts about humanity, keep insisting than apes were my mother and father, because they go at it from a singlemindedness that narrows their vision to what THEY think MUST be, or else they would have to admit that there is intelligence beyond theirs.
It is altogether disgusting and arrogant and has been disproven every time they have tried to foist their stupid theories on us.

It is the truth. The universe is FULL of life, actually a living thing in its own right. It is governed by intelligence we cannot fathom. There is NO where that NOTHING exists. They see it, but will not call it life because it doesn’t fit their preconceived scheme of things. It boggles my mind.

a benevolent God wants you to discover all the mysteries of his nature. Not rely on some poorly transcribed text written by sandal wearing goat herding desert wanderers.

He expect you to evolve not just but physically and mentally.

Thank God as a Catholic (currently, not the dark time when they persecuted Galileo) I am not only allowed to believe in natural laws but my first lessons in evolution were by my high school biology teacher, Brother William (to his friends, 'Bio Bill') of the Marist order.

Understanding goes beyond text, but the text is a history and an invaluable source of inspiration and education if you take the time to read and understand it.
One of the most astonishing things in Exodus was how much emphasis was put on independence instead of dependency. Unfortunately, the lessons did not take very well.
There are many, many surprising things in the Bible if you read it properly. Natural law actually makes it impossible for man to have been evolved from apes. You could not impregnate a human female from an ape’s sperm, nor impregnate a female ape with human sperm. They are totally and completely incompatible. THAT ought to tell evolutionists everything they need to know, but they do not follow logic here. They follow a THEORY that has never, ever been proven, yet this method could EASILY DISPROVE it.

Discover Channel had a 2 hour Ardi show on Sunday evening. After the show, they had a panel of scientists that were featured in the show for a question/answer and ‘what does it all mean’ session with Paula Zahn. Excellent shows.

You should study that time period more closely. The Church funded the universities as well as studies in astronomy and other sciences. It was the "expert" scientists, who hated Galileo because of his scientific heresy, that kept appealing to the Pope.

I can't wait for these hunters to stumble across that ancient frozen in time 'hot' steamy pot of primordial soup that started all this linking.

of course evolution is a proven theory.

its is only the minutiae that is unknown. evolution on the whole is NOT a theory, but proven fact.

Yep sure it is. Now given you have made this claim, how will you 'fair' under BamaKennedy's practice of that scientific methodology.... See now what has been good for the 'golden' goose is NOW going to be good for the gander.

No kidding! That’s the second good article from Pravda I’ve posted lately. It scares me just a little. If everything that comes out of the American media is a lie but Russia now has a tolerance for the truth on occasion, that is not a good sign.

You like to muddy the waters don't ya???

why are you trying to deliberately confuse the issue by bringing in Obama Kennedy and the highly political non science of global warming....(I suppose that's where your going.)

no rational scientist believes in Gorbal Warming unless their grants depend upon it.

Great, evolution believing scientist like the late Michael Crichton and the guy who created the weather channel know Global Warming is only a political ticket to Marxism.... ....

Does belief in evolution lead to Marxism??? no. ....

Oh please it is NOT my mud that is muddying up your troubled waters. BamaKennedy said he supports the scientific methodology. And BamaKennedy told his religious followers that he had a partnership with his 'god' to decide who lives and who dies.

Now get out the evolutionist's artwork and looooook at what it pictures. BamaKennedy is about restoring through the scientific methodology what he believes has been taken.

Actually when BamaKennedy speaks freely he does not lie. It is that programmed teleprompter he reads from that produces the lies. BamaKennedy in his own teleprompter free speaking told Joe the Plumber he was going to redistribute the wealth. Well now follow the money and one soon figures out who is on BamaKennedy's most fittest to survive list. The literal manual on the system of scientific methodology has been written and well introdrictinated into the minds of the majority of Americans through the religious houses of evolution called public education.

Evolution species by species. Man evolves into more advanced man. Apes do not evolve into men. Evolution of the species is much different than one species becoming another. Reptiles are reptiles and will not become mammals. Fish are fish and will not become monkeys. Insects will not become reptiles. APES did not, and will not ever become human.
Man has evolved and continues to evolve...or devolve...depending on your POV. But we never were, and will not ever be, anything other than human.
New species appear on earth every day. Evolution is forward progress, but cats will never become dogs.

Ah yes, my old friend Babu G. Ranganathan. This guy used to live near me and used to bombard the local papers with ranting letters and attempts at freelance op-eds EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.

He was generally regarded as quite the nutter and became a bit infamous. (He went to Western New England Law School - and left without a degree - and hassled EVERYONE all over the area about EVERYTHING.

I had no idea he held a prestigious bachelor’s degree in biology from Bob Jones U! Nor did I know his claptrap was being picked up by Pravda!

He’s really making it after all. Keep at it Babu!

(And yes, I AM making fun of the messenger and not bothering with his ridiculous message. So be it.)

Please tell me what part of my post is fiction. I suppose he's not really my "friend" so you've got me there. What else?
