The World View Of The Subjective Conservative

The Conservative movement today consists of individuals with various personal beliefs (both religious and ideological), but conservatism in general sadly rejects outright the absolute authority of the Bible, the Holy Word of Almighty God. It is a “bestselling” book widely reverenced, but too many Conservatives reject its Divine authority and preeminence. These “Subjective Conservatives” cannot see out of this box called time, and thus they are oblivious to the realities of Holy Scripture truth. This includes the coming establishment of the literal Kingdom of Almighty God on earth, as well as their own eternity destiny (John 3:3-5; Romans 8:5-8; 1 Cor. 2:12-14; Jude 1:19).

Conservatism is NOT a theocracy in the US. Conservatism is the careful merging of both political philosophy with Judeo-Christian theology to create a society predicated on reason, fairness for all and order.

If one looks closely, our Bill of Rights can be associated with the Ten Commandments. As if we needed additional proof of the Founder’s brilliance, the Constitution and the Bill of Rights provided that very balance and reason between political philosophy and Judeo-Christian theology. These values drove the government in its early years. It is the denigration and eschewing of these values that has led us to the corrupt mess we presently have.

I was with you until that.

Why? I said "associated". I didn't say "copies", or "follows word-for-word". Many of the principles rooted in the Ten Commandments can be found as underlying principles in the Bill of Rights.

Conservatism is a political ideology, not a religious ethic. The former does not need to adhere to any particular religious dogma to make it a useful, sustaining political force. In fact, to the degree it binds itself to any religion, it alienates those of like secular mind whose religious preference might differ.

This is a good place to remember that Christ’s world is not this one, and that we are admonished to render unto Caesar his due, and unto the Lord His. The two are not the same.

Murder, Adultery, Theft, Sabbath Keeping, Idolotry, Lying, Honoring Parents, Swearing, or Lust are not anywhere in the Bill of Rights.

Freedom of assembly, worship, free press are nowhere in the Ten Commandments.

Neither are warrants, searches, voting, taxes, presidential terms and limits or bearing arms.

Other that those discrepancies....
