The sons of Reuben, the Gadites, and half the tribe of Manasseh had forty-four thousand seven hundred and sixty valiant men, men able to bear shield and sword, to shoot with the bow, and skillful in war, who went to war. They made war And they were helped against them, and the Hagrites were delivered into their hand, and all who were with them, for they cried out to God in the battle. He heeded their prayer, because they put their trust in Him. Then they took away their livestockfifty thousand of their camels, two hundred and fifty thousand of their sheep, and two thousand of their donkeysalso one hundred thousand of their men; for many fell dead, because the war was Gods. (1 Chronicles 5:18-21)
As we look to the scriptures in 1 Chronicles today, our faith rises for Your victory for our military men and women. We know You have given us people skillful in war and we know, because we have asked, that You are helping them. We trust that our enemies will be delivered into their hand and all who are with them because we and the military who know You, cry to You in battle. Thank You for heeding our prayers. We believe that all righteous wars are Yours. Help these heroes establish environments in which righteousness can prevail.
We pray, according to Your Word, for our enemies. Sir, these are people who just dont know how wonderful You are and how great is Your salvation. We are asking You for an outpouring of Your Spirit to convict them concerning righteousness and to enlighten the eyes of their understanding about the truth of the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Let Your Word have free course and send laborers into this harvest. How we rejoice when we hear of each individual salvation!
We pray for the ministry of Rune Edvardsen at International Word Ministries. Thank you for all the former Muslims that have come into Your kingdom through this ministry. How glorious You are! Thank You for calling this ministry, for opening up doors of utterance and for working with them to bear tremendous fruit for You. We pray that You would multiply the anointing You have put on them. May there be more doors, more signs and wonders, more salvations, Sir. We believe You are meeting all their financial needs according to Your riches in glory by Christ Jesus. For that we give You all the praise, glory and honor.
We worship You and thank You for answering our prayers in the name of Jesus. Amen.
Thank you for praying with me today for the help of the mighty hand of God for our heroes.
Amen
We pray to You, O Lord, in the time of Your favor; in Your great love, O God, answer us with Your sure salvation. Lord, look down upon all of our American Heroes, those in the Armed Forces, Secret Service, Police dept, Fire dept, and all other Heroes and their families, and have compassion on them. Put Your Word in their mouth and cover them with the shadow of Your hand- You who set the heavens in place and laid the foundations of the earth, and who say to Your choldren, “You are my people”. In Jesus name, Amen
Prayers going up for our American Heroes!
AMEN SISTER AND GRACE TO ALL CHRISTIAN PATRIOTS!
“For my strength is made perfect in weakness.”
- 2 Corinthians 12:9
A primary qualification for serving God with any amount of success, and
for doing God’s work well and triumphantly, is a sense of our own
weakness. When God’s warrior marches forth to battle, strong in his own
might, when he boasts, “I know that I shall conquer, my own right arm and
my conquering sword shall get unto me the victory,” defeat is not far
distant. God will not go forth with that man who marches in his own
strength. He who reckoneth on victory thus has reckoned wrongly, for “it
is not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.”
They who go forth to fight, boasting of their prowess, shall return with
their gay banners trailed in the dust, and their armour stained with
disgrace. Those who serve God must serve him in his own way, and in his
strength, or he will never accept their service. That which man doth,
unaided by divine strength, God can never own. The mere fruits of the
earth he casteth away; he will only reap that corn, the seed of which was
sown from heaven, watered by grace, and ripened by the sun of divine love.
God will empty out all that thou hast before he will put his own into
thee; he will first clean out thy granaries before he will fill them with
the finest of the wheat. The river of God is full of water; but not one
drop of it flows from earthly springs. God will have no strength used in
his battles but the strength which he himself imparts.
Are you mourning over your own weakness? Take courage, for there must be
a consciousness of weakness before the Lord will give thee victory.
Your emptiness is but the preparation for your being filled, and your
casting down is but the making ready for your lifting up.
“When I am weak then am I strong,
Grace is my shield and Christ my song.”
