It has always amazed me atheist claim “No God”. They take great effort to disprove this. The very fact they battle against something apart from themselves actually supports the fact that He is. Else who are they fighting?... perhaps themselves and the very Spirit trying to reach them.

All value systems are made by man.

Spoken like a true atheist!

They probably derive moral tenets from a combination of Kantian universalism (the idea, essentially that you should only do things if everyone could do them without adverse reaction), social-benefit utilitarianism (do the most good for the most people), and good old-fashioned playground morality (play nice with others). There are a number of valid morality-based systems that don't require belief in God.

Rrrriiiiiiiight...

Ol’ Kim created his own religion, which defines right and wrong. Iran’s morals are based on Islam, and the morals of the Chinese society come from religion.

None of which come from God, Thanks for pointing that out.

Except that he wrote them. Aside from the commands to worship Jehova, there’s nothing it them that wasn’t previously set out as societal laws. They weren’t really new to society.

Those commandements were written by God on stone tablets for Moses to bring down from the mountain. Read about it. Moses did not write them.

Such is your belief. They have other beliefs.

Read about it. Moses did not write them.

I have. It's not believable. Although many events in the Bible overlap with history (as it is partially a history book for the tribe as well as a compilation of their laws), it is not quite accurate.

Apparently atheists and humanists have a lot of spare time to kill in idiotic pursuits.

They are getting their message out and trying to make others like them feel better.

A couple of local preachers here have radio shows. There's all the televangelists. There are religious billboards quite often. Church services, prayer groups, Bible studies, prayers for public events, wanting to put religious monuments everwyere, protests...

I'd say Christians have a LOT of spare time to kill.

Why do atheists want a Holy Day?

"The ads read: “No God -- no problem! Be good for goodness’ sake."

I would encourage them to read C.S. Lewis' essay 'Man or Rabbit' and then think on that a bit more.
