No, now I’m a born against Christian. Not a Catholic. Pouring a little water on my head didn’t do anything for my salvation.

But you are marked forever as a Catholic. The fault wasn’t in the Baptism, but in the lack of catechesis you (didn’t) receive.

You are welcome to come back to the Catholic Church at any time. All you need to do is sit down with a priest and get your questions answered. Which would lead to other steps, of course.

I really have no desire to come back to the Catholic church. I am well versed in the Gospel and know that I am saved by Grace.

OSAS doesn’t fly too well with Christ.

What happens at the moment of your death and you haven’t gone to Confession for years — and thus, your sins are not forgiven and forgotten by God?

Your risk — one I would not take.

FYI -- your sins are forgiven by GOD in Confession and you know they are forgiven and forgotten!

enter the Table of Contents of the Catechism of the Catholic Church here
1449 The formula of absolution used in the Latin Church expresses the essential elements of this sacrament: the Father of mercies is the source of all forgiveness. He effects the reconciliation of sinners through the Passover of his Son and the gift of his Spirit, through the prayer and ministry of the Church:
God, the Father of mercies,
through the death and the resurrection of his Son
has reconciled the world to himself
and sent the Holy Spirit among us
for the forgiveness of sins;
through the ministry of the Church
may God give you pardon and peace,
and I absolve you from your sins in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

I confess directly, I don’t need to go to confession. My sins were covered by the blood of Jesus, there is nothing else I need do, nor indeed nothing I CAN do. I realize you have good intentions, but after having my eyes opened by reading the Bible myself, I realized that I was not saved because I attended church, was baptized as a Catholic, went to confession, etc. God bless you, however.

Generally speaking, these groups are not young (they’re usually run by gray-hairs), not Catholic, and not for “choice” on anything but whether or not you can kill an unborn baby.

Really? What language did you read it in? How much study of the Church fathers and of ancient history did you do so that you can be sure you're interpreting it correctly?

These kinds of statements always strike me as an extreme example of hubris. Think about the consequences to your immortal soul if your understanding of Sacred Scripture is deeply flawed--as it is almost certain to be.

And if you’re wrong, as I’m sure YOU are?
