"If God existed, why would he just prove it and remove all doubt? "

Are you asking why WOULDN'T He "prove it" to you and remove all doubt? If you are, your tagline has a typo in it. Which gets me to thinking... Why WOULD he indeed? (Freudian slip on your part?)

If you haven't already seen the hand of the creator in the vastness of the universe, or in the sunrise, or the beauty of nature, or in the complexity of a single cell, why would he feel obligated to go out of his way to prove something to you? And what the heck would you want that wouldn't be dismissed as schizophrenia by your atheist buds?

n Scripture, the purpose of all earthquakes, regardless of the cause, is to warn or administer judgment to individuals in history for apostasy, reversionism, and evil.

Well FWIIW, the 1994 Northridge quake put the fear of God into me -- and I already had it!

He's telling YOU to go help out.

Too often we see problems and tragedies when what we should be seeing are opportunities to shine for Him.

>>> And to those that are tempted to quote the bible, don’t bother.

Well, I would have to agree with you that the bible itself cannot be offered as proof... but then again nobody ever said that the bible was written for that purpose. It is much like leading a horse to water. Proving a negative is simply not possible. And, even in the light of overwhelming evidence for any fact... people are quite capable of rejecting it as truth.
Even when it was first proven that the earth was round, there were many who rejected the evidence to protect their own sacred pride.

However, many have set out to dis-prove the bible. If the bible is fiction, then there should be plenty of elements within the bible (historical accounts, events, locations, PROPHECY) that are inconsistent with solid historical evidence and public record.

Many have tried to disprove the bible.... all have failed... and many of those who did try became christians.

Also, you don’t need the bible as evidence of God’s existence with the overwhelming evidence available in God’s creation around us.

If you are honestly seeking the truth of a matter, you will find it. If you are sincere at heart about resolving the question, ask God Himself. I guarantee He will answer provided you are not “daring” Him to show Himself.

Otherwise, if you are unwilling to consider the possibility that you are wrong, the price to pay for your ignorance is pretty steep.

I don’t believe that God intervenes in this world. At least not in the current times. If he exists (which is very doubtful) than this world lies entirely in the hands of people and natural forces.

If he does exist than I will give him absolutely no gratitude until he destroys this completely crappy world.
