Voodoo certainly. Santeria, probably not. Not that it really makes a difference, but voodoo, vodou, vaudou, santeria, kumina, etc are distinct and localized variants of west African bantu and yoruba religions. Although equally diabolical (to my way of thinking), you’d be hard pressed to find santeros practicing in Haiti alongside vodouns. I’ve had the unfortunate reality of having santeros in my own family and I can assure you that their resident demons didn’t get the message about a ‘house divided’ and they hate Haitian Voudouns and Louisiana Voodooiennes with equal passion.
