Surely every Christian should major in studying and emulating Him, and to that end this study must be helpful.

It does seem strangely incomplete, however, without an exploration of the many works of, appearances of, references to, and symbols of Him throughout the Old Testament.

Yes... As the Angel of the Lord.. etc... that is true.. however we wanted to look at Him as The Son of Man, The Son of Almighty God John 1:1-3,14. That is when He did His most glorious work.

I certainly wouldn't deny that His substitutionary atonement and resurrection were "most glorious." particularly because they apply personally to me. I would simply note that, without His work of creating the universe and the people in it, there would have been neither stage nor audience.
