Ifr memory serves, Bp Olmstead was also quite vocal during the recent Notre Dame Sorrowful Event.

Another dynamic worth mentioning is that generally Arizona is what California looks at for redemption. It is a South Western state that somehow managed to have all California positives except the wine and the ocean, and avoid all its negatives.

I find it so amazingly sad that Mahoney wasn’t ousted long long ago.

“generally Arizona is what California looks at for redemption”

Really? As a native Californian, I never noticed that. Arizonans visit us in the summer to beat the heat. We send some kids there to go to college, and vice versa. We make it to the Grand Canyon, maybe. The only thing I can think of along those lines is maybe the New Age types in Northern CA, who might go to Sedona for some spirituality.

I really don’t see Californians looking east for redemption. Perhaps we should?
