Jews in the town of Mitzpe Yericho are taking practical steps to prepare for the rebuilding of the Temple in Jerusalem, by preparing descendents of Cohanim (priests) and Levites for service. At the Mitzpe Yericho school, Temple priest hopefuls learn exactly how to conduct the daily Temple service and offer the required sacrifices.
"Today is really a historical event for the Jewish people, organizer Levi Chazan said as another part of the school was completed. It is the beginning of the work for the Third Temple.
The school will include an exact replica of the Temple. The latest addition to the replica was the area in which priests offered wine and water libations. The water offering was traditionally given on the Sukkot holiday, which was celebrated last week.

I have heard for many years that the rebuilding of this temple signifies the end of the world.

However, God’s Scripture mystifyingly outlines sacrifices even in the Millenial reign of Christ.
It’s not crystal clear what that’s all about . . . but it seems clear enough that’s what’s being talked about.

There are people who will deny the reality of a rebuilt Temple even when they see the Antichrist stopping the sacrifices and standing in that Temple, declaring himself to be god.
“He will confirm a covenant with many for one ‘seven.’ In the middle of the ‘seven’ he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on a wing of the temple he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him” (Daniel 9:27).
If God telling us that there will be a rebuilt Temple isn’t enough, and the ongoing preparations in Israel for the rebuilt Temple aren’t enough, there is nothing that will convince those whose religious beliefs depend on there not being a rebuilt Temple in Israel that there will be a rebuilt Temple.

I’m increasingly of the opinion that there will be a 3rd and a 4th Temple.
I do not believe that God is going to allow a Temple TO HIM to stand
which satan incarnate has sat in . . . or even stepped in, for that matter.
I believe that one will be destroyed and a new one built for Christ’s Millenial reign.
Saying Scripture "says" something is completely different from "I'm guessing it'll happen this way based on my interpretation of several passages." Where does Scripture SAY that the temple will be rebuilt? A simple reference will suffice.
It will be the end of Satanic control over the world and the beginning of Jesus Christ taking back His creation, restoring it to the way it was before sin ruined it, and ruling and reigning over His creation for eternity. And yes, all the preparations we are witnessing for the rebuilt Temple are a sign that that end of the age is getting close!

I'm not a "doubter" any more than you are. I doubt your interpretation of Scripture, and you doubt mine.
To be clear, this is a practice replica, not the real thing.
Jews in every generation have made such preparations. The saintly Chofetz Chaim in the 19th century could be found running up and down stairs. He was a kohen and wanted to be ready for temple service.

It means 490 years. But somehow Futurists have to cram an extra 2,000-plus years in there.
