My answer is ALWAYS TRY YOUR BEST during Lent. If you fall, God will help you to pick yourself up, dust the dirt off you and start again.

**If people don’t’ prepare for the liturgy, they won’t get the meaning of Lent.

People can prepare for the liturgy more — both as individuals and as families. See if there is not more reverence for the Holy Spirit when you do that.**

Amen to that. That is what Scripture Classes and Faith Sharing Groups do during Lent. They read and discuss the upcoming week’s readings.

It’s a wonderful program to have. After this program, the Catholics in my groups get to know the Bible, join prayer groups, start coming to Daily Mass and start volunteering in the parish in numerous ways.

If you want more information about starting something like this — FReepmail me. PLEASE!
