Ok, let's add one more to your analogy.

A fourth person has a ferret, telling all who will listen that it is a cat, that you should get a cat just like it and love it to and is telling this to those who don't really know what a cat is. This person may or may not believe this themselves depending on whether they are simply ignorant of the fact or there is some profit for them in the deception.

Now that is more in line with what we are talking about.

I always love the “I love my Mormon friend bit when people get tied up in these threads and try and tell the Antis how mean we are and that we are hateful.

I can not think of anything more hateful than sitting back and watching a friend waltz through the gates of hell without doing everything I can to stop them...

Yeah, we are the haters...

If I get off the path God save me from the love shown by some of these with Mormon friends..

Yes. It reminds of the people who ONLY wanted to approach making abortions illegal by writing their legislators. The problem is in most cases, that approach doesn't usually help the pre-born alive right now. My response usually was: "Hey, if somebody's about to kill me; do me a favor...don't write your legislator on my behalf."

I have Mormon friends and they are wonderful people

We all do, and it is so true - they are wonderful people.

But so terribly deceived. We grieve for them! It is out of love that we try to bring them the true light of Christianity.
