Hmmm.
I went for the first time ever over to the EWTN forums thinking I might try something more in line with what I enjoy on the televised EWTN
I got a message the my IP had been banned as soon as I arrived.
I left a message explaining I had never gone to EWTN forums before and asked for help.
So while I wait for a reply in the future some time I wanna ask other Catholic Freepers.
Have any of you ever checked out the EWTN forums and did you like them? Why or why not?
I love the format of EWTN tv and was hoping the forum would reflect the easy to understand teachings of history/art/science ect...
We are currently no tv for Lent per tradition except for EWTN and the idea of going back to MSM news/art/science non Catholic tv is not something I really want to do.
The forums here at FR are good but the noise/false info/ anti Catholic posters are like trying to eat a picnic in a swarm of flies.
Then the threads that get posted from sources that twist the truth get confusing.
So anyone know if the EWTN forums are as good as the tv programming?

As to the friction which you mention on FR, I've found the worst is on Catholic forums or Christian Forums which have Catholic sub-forums. Leftists who are not Catholic flood those forums and try to pull people away from the faith. They register as Catholics but I have no doubt they are phonies (seen them plot what to do on secular forums). So...while you may find some opposition here, at least it is straight up opposition and both the critics and you probably share basic moral teachings and political opinions. Those who are trying to subvert your church from the inside are the real danger.
Since I’m not Catholic, I guess I don’t need to know what “EWTN” stands for.
EWTN = Eternal Word Television Network.

I would not call it a forum; it’s a Q&A board.
