The fact that I presided over this trial and have never once been contacted by any news organization for comment speaks for itself.

It does indeed.

NYT stating as fact its pre-conceived/ill-conceived/maliciously-concevied negative conclusions about the world’s bulwark of traditional values, the Catholic Church, without event trying to fact-check?

You don’t say?

This was very interesting. Actually, the one who may be most seriously at fault would be the dread Rembert Weakland, who is gay himself (he’s just published a book about it, in fact) and obviously felt that something was going to come out and he had to finally let the investigation go ahead. He says he “wrote to Rome” in 1996, implying that he was a “whistle blower” on someone else’s corruption, but (a) there is no indication that he really did so and (b) there actually was already a legitimate Church investigation going on.

But who was the Archibishop of Milwaukee all those years of supposed “cover up,” pray tell?

Another homo nailed because he was only trying to help the children understand his alternative lifestyle. Soon we will no longer be able to call a pervert what he is, but the opposition to perversion will be prosecuted for hate crimes. Laugh now, but the homosexualization of the country is well underway.

I urge Roman Catholics going through this Holy Week and particulary the Easter Triduum, to thank and pray for your Parish Priest, clergy and the laity of the Church for their work and love during this most difficult worldwide attack on the Church and our Holy Father. Much of it is driven by the UN, Islam, EU governments and of course our government in Washington, D.C. and its hatefilled media supporters. Pray likewise for Jews worldwide as they go through this Passover which we celebrate on Maundy Thursday. They too, are under severe attack by Washington, Islam and the UN.

Damian Thompson over at The Daily Telegraph in the UK has now picked up on this story, so it's "out there". The Telegraph is a mass circulation UK daily and is probably the best of the British newspapers by some distance, although that's not saying much.

Whether this story will placate the mob now howling for the Pope's head is another story, of course.

They seem to horde their stories and keep them for Lent.
