Rev. 12 is being referred to:
7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, 8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. 9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. 10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. 12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

“But how do people get saved during the following period?”

I have heard it argued different ways by clergy I respect, but I tend to lean to the belief that there will be some who come to know Christ during those seven years and will gain understanding of what is happening, but that conversion Will result in persecution and even death.

By the way, so far you are lucky. Usually when a thread starts on the end-times or the Rapture - out come the doubters who are too eager to share their higher knowledge on us, or those who are so dead sure their scenario for the end-times is the only scenario they'll you call you a heretic if you differ with them. It gets ugly.

Daniel 9:26 speaks of the Messiah being cut off - a reference which has been generally taken to mean Jesus’ death for the sins of the world.

Isaiah 53:8 likewise speaks of the suffering Messiah being cut off from the land of life.

Yes, there will come a time when God kicks Satan out of Heaven permanently and he no longer has access to the Throne of God.

Some speculate that that happens right after the Church is raptured to Heaven.

Interesting set of conjectures and interpretations . . . to a point.

I don’t buy it.

I think the author is shoehorning into his notions a lot that just does not fit.

I remain utterly convinced that the

ABOMINATION THAT MAKES DESOLATE

is the AntiChrist setting up his image in the yet to be built 3rd Jewish Temple. . . . at the 3.5 year mark of the 7 year TRIBULATION period of the END TIMES.

Things are rushing toward Armageddon at a faster and faster pace.

There is no need to concoct unfitting notions together in jury-rigged constructions on END TIMES reailties. Such events will unfold in God’s time and that quite fast enough, thank you very much!

And, every detail of Scripture will be fulfilled to the letter without having to stretch conjectures to the point of breaking all reason and logic.

My problem is that if the Rapture is imminent, and the seven-year period can only start once it has happened, then that means that a Temple can be approved, built, and up-and-running in time for the AC to set up his image in it, all within three and a half years from now.

Lots of conjectures and calculations regarding years and months and Feast days etc. are interesting.

Some may turn out to be true. Most, probably won’t.

Things are happening in the prophetic schedule at a faster and faster clip.

And, I wouldn’t be all that surprised to find that the Rapture is a lot closer than many think. It may not be as close as some think.

Our task, imho, is to BE OVERCOMERS IN HIM regardless and to OCCUPY UNTIL HE COMES . . . to walk close to Him and be diligent about THE MASTER’S BUSINESS for HIS KINGDOM.

From What? Muslim Leader Wants Temple Rebuilt

Oktar added that the Temple of Solomon "will be rebuilt and all believers will worship there in tranquility." During his meeting with the Sanhedrin Rabbis, Oktar expressed his belief that the Temple could be rebuilt in one year:

""It could be done in a year at most. It could be built to the same perfection and beauty. The Torah says it was built in 13 years, if I remember correctly. It could be rebuilt in a year in its perfect form.""

My guess is that they would use something akin to pre-fab to get it up quickly.

You people refuse to learn from all of your prior confident assertions that turned out to be so much bovine feces. Your warped perspective on prophecy turns you into cheerleaders for the other team. God’s curse rested upon the faithless ten spies who saw only certain defeat for God’s people in the land of promise. In your assiduous efforts to demoralize God’s people and denigrate His power, you risk committing the same offense against His Kingdom, His glory, and His people.

Using God's Word as a ouija board to predict the future is an exercise in futility that only serves to make the gospel look fatuous, inane, and totally irrelevant.

For some reason, the fortune tellers who treat God's Word as a reeking heap of entrails, rather than as His instruction manual for "life, the universe, and everything," always seem to read the same message: brace yourself for the global triumph of evil! Whoopee! beak out the popcorn!

Hypothetically, if the Ez 38 war occurs as some think, prior to the rapture and the earthly return of the Lord (and perhaps prior to the 7yr agreement) - then a considerable portion of islam will have been hammered hard - giving temporary breathing room for a temple to be constructed.

Agreed. That’s just my guess. Going back to the timeline of construction thing...it took a little over a year to build the Empire State building. From what I’ve seen, it took 1 year and 45 days to build it. With the advancements in construction technology since then, it is not a wild idea to rebuild the temple in a year or less.

You are confusing GOD’s word of *Prophecy* for some New Age Fortune Telling...

What did Jesus say about Hypocrties and Signs of the times?

Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.” (II Pet. 3:3-4)

I read a book a year or so ago that contends Islam’s Mahdi will also be the AC. Muslims will embrace the Mahdi as their savior. Under Islamic theology, the world has to be in a state of chaos for the Mahdi to appear. We are moving toward that as we speak and there are world leaders who are actively working to those ends (i.e. Ammanutjob). If the Mahdi and the AC are indeed one in the same, then perhaps he could convince Muslims it is in their best interest to allow the reconstruction.

Well I agree with your title proposition to this extent--I think it is not impossible that the 7 year agreement has in fact been executed and that the term is in process. I would argue that there is some uncertainty where we are on the seven year time line since the word translated "confirm" may not mean "entered into".

I further agree strongly with your proposition that construction of a new Temple is not required before the sacrifical worship system can be resumed. That, however, has not happened yet.

You incorrectly identify the place of origin of the prince. 9:26 is translated by King James, "the people of the prince to come will destroy the city and the temple". The word translated "people" is the Hebrew word "yam" which has a literal dictionary definition--"tribal or ethnic group"; so properly translated, that phrase in 9:26 should say "the tribal or ethnic group of the prince to come will destroy . . . "

The identity of the tribal or ethnic group which destroyed the city and temple in 70 AD is of course clearly identified by a number of historical sources. Tacitus, in the Histories identifies them specifically as an army raised by levies on the local (Assyrian) kings. Roman discharge records of the Legions involved make it clear that with the exception of Titus (the 24 year old son of Flavus Titus Vespaisian, the emperor) and a few officers, there were no Western Europeans involved. Josephus describes a number of incidents that take place in connection with the destruction identifying the participants by name and the place of their origin--all come from identifiable historical areas in Assyria.

No doubt--the Prince is an Assyrian.

The fourth empire was located and governed in Western Europe only for a short part of its total history--as you recognize, for most of its history including the last thousand years, it was located in the Middle East with its capitol at Constantinople.

Now sure, the ten nations might have appeared in Western Europe but in the current context, that no longer appears likely for several reasons.

The eleventh horn, or nation, of Daniel 7:8 is "among" but "diverse from" (7:24) the ten nations.

I suggest to you that it is much more reasonable to look for the ten horns where the beast was last seen, particularly in light of a couple of other considerations.

For one thing, the Anti-Christ must be seen as "coming from out of Bethlehem where David was" which is not in Western Europe. And the Prince of Daniel 9:26, presumably the Anti-Christ, is an Assyrian.

Looking at the ten nations out of the Eastern Empire: Turkey, Israel, Syria, Jorden, Iraq, Saudia Arabia, Lebenon, Egypt, Kuwait, and Tunisia, there is today, an eleventh nation living among them which is ethnically diverse from the population of the nations. That nation has its own government, legislative body, judicial system, military, and the like and we call it the "Palestinians".

By the terms of the Interim Agreement (a seven year agreement by its terms, performance of which may not yet have comenced and which has not yet been discernably confirmed), seven nations on the West Bank were set over for Civil Administration to the Palestinian Authority (one of which cities is Bethlehem).

The Anti Christ ("I who come in the name of the father they have rejected but he who comes in his own name they will accept") must be a Jew. So we are not surprised to find a Jew in civil administration on the west bank in a position to be the head (one of the 7 heads of Revelation 13) of Bethlehem.

This individual is an ethnic Assyrian, born in the area south of Damascus in modern Syria to which Shalamaniser removed the tribe of Dan ("Dan thou art a viper") in 724 BC.

I have it on good authority the the newly formed Sanhedrin
has celebrated a Korban Pesach this past Pesach.

The first since 70 CE

An altar made from uncut stones is being assembled near Jericho.

It was dedicated this past Tisha B'av.

Tisha B'av was auspicious as it was the date of the destruction of the Temple in 70CE.

At some time in the near future the altar will be moved to the temple mount.

The first Korban Pesach was during the Exodus.

Yah'shua presented Himself as the Korban Pesach to cover our sins.

Look up ! Yah'shua is coming very soon !

In order for the Evil One
to end regular sacrifice
at the middle of the tribulation,
it must start;

Daniel 9: 26 "Then after the sixty-two weeks the Messiah will be cut off and have nothing, and the people of the prince who is to come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. And its end will come with a flood; even to the end there will be war; desolations are determined.
27 "And he will make a firm covenant with the many for one week, but in the middle of the week he will put a stop to sacrifice and grain offering; and on the wing of abominations will come one who makes desolate, even until a complete destruction, one that is decreed, is poured out on the one who makes desolate."

Daniel 11: 31 "Forces from him will arise, desecrate the sanctuary fortress, and do away with the regular sacrifice. And they will set up the abomination of desolation.

Daniel 12: 9 He said, "Go your way, Daniel, for these words are concealed and sealed up until the end time.
10 "Many will be purged, purified and refined, but the wicked will act wickedly; and none of the wicked will understand, but those who have insight will understand.
11 "From the time that the regular sacrifice is abolished and the abomination of desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days.
12 "How blessed is he who keeps waiting and attains to the 1,335 days!

Regular Passover sacrifice will be restarting after 1940 years.

The Sanhedrin is planning to restart the sacrifice of Lambs at Passover this year.

See Korban Pesach

shalom b'SHEM Yah'shua HaMashiach
