No one is saved outside the Church

This is the one thing that has always confused me about catholicism....Jesus never preached that way. He never talked about being a part of a group in order to gain salvation....

Do you know which of the above links best refer to catholics' interpretation of repentance and sin?

Re-read John 6 and read it slowly for what it is actually saying — not just your symbolics interpretation.

In the Catechism it will read for you about sure salvation for our separated Brethren. Its online the whole Catechism. Word to the wise, God is not going to hold you for what you do not know but for what you do know in context. The Catholic Church claims to be in the fullness. But does not say our separated brethren do not know Christ but declares that its not in its fullness of knowledge. If you think about it most churches believe that otherwise why do they go to their church instead of others in their area.
