I think Pope Benedict XVI is gently trying to prepare his flock for some harsh realities that are almost upon us.

That's exactly what he's trying to do. I'll translate some of this and post it.

I don't know what's going to happen, but it doesn't look good to me. I'm not an apocalyptic type and I have always resisted the many prophecies and omens on FR, but I really wonder if perhaps there's something seriously bad about to happen to Christians.

Even if it does there is nothing to worry about...Just think of what the Saints and Martyrs endured.The persecutors face hell and the humble and faithful face eternal glory
