So, if this an Apostolic Tradition, why doesnt Rome accept it?

It is acceptable and I just came across a Catholic retreat that does this for those who want to give public confession.

There is nothing that permits public confessions in Church teaching

I can understand why private confession is allowed as well because the modern world is too judgmental and there ae too many cafeteria Catholics who might use these confession to hurt someone.

The Holy Spirit protects the flock even in the modern world, dear friend

Only prideful people are afraid of confession anyway!

Confession of sin to one another is SCRIPTURAL, and hardly qualifies an Apostolic ORAL Big 'T' Tradition.

The truth is there are no Big 'T' traditions that were NOT written down. Simply affirming their existence with NEVER a detail is accidental proof, they dont exist.

Dear Friend,
Everything written (with the exception of something like the ten commandments)starts with tradition before it gets written.

Go back and read post #357 because we are just spinning our wheels here over and over.

Dear Friend, Everything written (with the exception of something like the ten commandments)starts with tradition before it gets written.

No one is saying that this did not happen.

But, to insist upon unwritten Apostolic Tradition that are Binding on all Christians would imply that we SHOULD KNOW WHAT THEY ARE to actually believe them????

from post 357 Sacred Apostolic Tradition, God’s Word entrusted to the Apostles by God that is NOT EXPLICITLY in Scriptures.

What are the Sacred Apostolic Traditions NOT EXPLICITYLY in Scripture?

“”What are the Sacred Apostolic Traditions NOT EXPLICITYLY in Scripture””

We have been through this before...
The Trinity is NOT EXPLICATE in Scripture

You’re kidding yourself if you think the Council Of Nicea was not necessary to make this teaching concrete and dogmatic to shut the door on heretics to protect the flock

Another example is Infant Baptism that is NOT Explicate in Scripture. We know it was part of Apostolic Tradition because the Early Church practiced it a wrote about it

example...

“For He came to save all through means of Himself—all, I say, who through Him are born again to God—infants, and children, and boys, and youths, and old men.” Irenaeus, Against Heresies, 2,22:4 (A.D. 180).
