My father was a fallen-away Catholic. (I was never really told why by my mother who was quite devout.) I have no memory of his attending Mass ever, but he always carried a St. Christopher medal. (And, fortunately, he did request Last Rites when he was dying in the hospital.)

Saint Christopher is one of my favorite saints. I always ask him to join me when saying the rosary while driving.
