The Word of God and the Shaping of America.
The American Patriot's Bible intersects the teachings of the Bible with the history of the Unites States while applying it to today's culture. Beautiful full-color insert pages spotlight America's greatest thinkers, leaders, and events that present the rich heritage and future of our great nation.
American Patriot’s Bible = Geneve Bible 1599(The Holy Bible of the Founders)!
I love my Bible and I may be related to the man who owned the Bible that was used in Washington’s inauguration. However, looking at the sample pages, Obama is included. I am not buying this edition. Seems like a pro-child-sacrifice administrator should not be included, quite an obamanation.
I agree Obama’s inclusion is the one thing that is holding me back from buying, but then Satan is mentioned in the Bible and it doesn’t hold me back from reading it.
I guess this calls for a trip to the bookstore for a deeper revue or if someone cares to do a deeper book revue which references and clearifies it’s references to Obama that would be good too.

If the article reveals the truth about his anti-Christian views, I may change my mind.
Understood. I’m a KJV type myself. You?
As a study Bible nut (I end up getting most every one that comes down the pick) I was unimpressed with the American Patriot’s Bible. Save your money and get the ESV Study Bible. I consider it not only the best study bible today but also the best single volume bible research tool on the market.

English Standard Version reads best for me. Wish I had time to refresh decades neglected Koine skills.
I never did see what translation the Patriot's Bible is. My objection lies in the mixing of overt nationalism with scripture.
(This is coming from a guy who considers saying the Pledge of Allegiance in a service of Christian worship to be a bit of thoughtless idolatry.)
Crossway publishes an incredible reverse interlinear Greek/English ESV bible. It has detailed and comprehensive codes for parsing. Spend a little time in it and I guarantee you a lot of that Greek will come back. A really awesome resource.
I'd rather have a diglot, English on one page, Greek on the facing page. ESV preferably, but the only one I'm aware of now is the NET/Greek Diglot (NET Bible, NA27). Supposed to be just the thing to have, just for its notes. (I have a Wescott & Hort/Revised English Version from 1889, but it's too old for me to want to make any regular and serious use of it. Things tend to get a battered, riding around in my back pack.)
The Greek text (NA27) has sliding arrow codes that solve the word order issue.
