As far as I know, Jed is not the least bit embarrassed about much of anything.
Prasise God for his faithfulness to serve his Lord Jesus as best as he sees fit and can. I’m not about to throw rocks at that.
No, Jed is NOT AT ALL pretending or intending to ENSCRIPTURATE anything new to add to scripture. That’s your construction on reality, not his. Nor is it any other charismatic’s perspective that I know or have ever known.
Scripture itself notes that many things that Christ Himself said and did were not contained in Scripture. There was certainly no problem with 100% purity or accuracy of any of that!
I prefer to deal with folks who demonstrate to me an earnestness about putting Christ and His Word first in their lives from a heart level out . . . privately . . . in terms of refinements etc.
I have exhorted Jed a time or three and, on balance, he took things to The Lord for confirmation and adjusted himself accordingly.
I continue to expect God to purify and refine all of us who truly seek Him and His will and purity in our lives.
I continue to believe that Jed hears from God and I continue to take his inputs to The Lord and ask The Lord what THE LORD would have me do with regard to applying them in my life and to what degree.
We are all obligated to do that even with every sermon we hear on Sunday or Wed night.

Do you see where this silly adherence to prophecy has taken you? You are apparently willing to accept the errors of your Charismatic brothers when they purport to speak for God in error because Jesus may have spoken once or twice in error so it wasn't contained in the body of scripture.

And what do you do with the false prophecies? Just pretend they are true? If he has presumed to speak for God on even one occasion and he was wrong, then he is a false prophet. Frankly I can't find a single one that he has posted on Free Republic that actually was true. And neither can you.

Well there certainly is a problem with Jedediah's quoting of Christ being flawed. Jed quotes God and Christ as if he were taking down dictation from God. But his quotes are misspelled and contain doctrinal and factual errors and his prophecies invariably are false.

No, when I see a false prophet I don't bother to ask him if he is sincere. I assume that he is. But he is deceived and the words they put in the mouth of God are their own, or they are words put there by some other spiritual entity other than God.

Quix, it does not matter that “jed” claims that this is his own web site. FR is being sued now by a lawyer representing a site that claims FR is stealing its material.
What is to prevent this from taking place with this website? There is NO link to the site, there is no attempt to give credit to the site, and there is a word-for-word “taking” of their material.
That would be hard to defend, even if it were a scam.
In any case, “Jed” should delete this thread, repost it, and attribute it to the proper source. We live in perilous times and even barely possible scams should not be dismissed out of hand.
