My BIL is named after this saint. And today's readings were all about "seeds," and Uncle Larry is an organic farmer/manager who would definitely die a martyr's death as well. In fact, we wonder why he's still around. :) So this is one of our favorite feast days/saints as well. That St. Lawrence is the patron saint of comedians is very funny. I did not realize that.
