Dr. Alveda King to Address the Restoring Honor Rally at the Lincoln Memorial August 28
Priests for Life
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Date: August 20, 2010
Atlanta, GA Dr. Alveda King, Director of African American Outreach for Priests for Life, issued the following statement today on her upcoming appearance at the August 28th Restoring Honor Rally on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial organized by commentator Glenn Beck.
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.s legacy, like the Lincoln Memorial itself, belongs to all Americans. I am participating in Glenn Becks Restoring Honor Rally not to advance any political agenda, but to advance the concept of honor in our nation.
The Book of Proverbs teaches that before honor comes humility. The Restoring Honor Rally has been organized for the purpose of giving honor to those who have humbled themselves to serve each and every one of us by defending our freedoms. If our soldiers dont deserve honor, I dont know who does.
My Uncle Martins dream was not that we should be judged by our support for bigger or smaller government, but rather by the content of our character. His dream was that everyone be guaranteed the unalienable rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. His dream goes beyond politics, its about the condition of our hearts. That is what I intend to address on August 28.
Priests for Life is the nation's largest Catholic pro-life organization dedicated to ending abortion and euthanasia. For more information, visit Priests for Life website.
The response to this is that Dr. Alveda King, niece of MLK Jr., will be attending this event, and will address the crowd.
That should make those MSNBC minds explode.
“That should make those MSNBC minds explode.”
Not much of an explosion, more like a small sizzle maybe.
The drugs got there first. They have no minds left.

Guess he/she hasn’t seen the same pic posted the other 10,000 times here at FR... :-)
Sorry if this has already been addressed, but will this event be on TV?
Beck said C-SPAN wanted o cover it (and they should); but there was an issue about permits to lay the necessary cables or some such...they were trying to get the specifics worked out...
o = to...didn’t catch it in time.
It is unclear if C-Span will carry it or some other group.
I will check with someone who might know
That's what I was thinking but he/she has been a Freeper since 2002.
I saw that, as well...what are the odds of missing that photo after all these years?
Hey... SHE can’t speak at that awful gathering.. why, that would make her a... a... RACIST or something!
The moonbats, Al Sharpton, and the NAACP are in for a rough time.
